A touching little play about how relationships often dig deep hooks in all of us, and the lengths our friends will go to help us move on. Playwright Klass has a firm hold of her characters, and gives us a great journey to healing and moving on.

A play that shows the dark and light of humanity. The two characters bond over a sudden trauma, and give us all hope. A great piece to watch.

Some of the best comedies are often the darkest. Politics in the shape of a power struggle over leadership of a girl scout troop makes a great statement, along with providing a hilarious ride. A fine piece for a one-act festival.

A fine little piece that uses baseball as the means to show a personal story between a couple that can no longer stay together. Both characters are nicely developed and show real investment in what they want and need.

A very moving piece that builds up your expectations and twists them around in the end. Great fun to be had in such a short piece.

A dark love letter to old Broadway, this play serves as a model for the theatrical biography. Showing June at various stages of her life with a dreamlike quality, we're shown a complete character on stage, and yet it flies by, never once lagging. Her contentious relationships with her mother, her sister, and those she works with gives her a human quality we can relate with, and yet provides the conflict to keep our interest. The supporting characters are similarly admirable and flawed. This is a grand theatrical experience.

Playwright O'Doherty weaves an innovative form with Lottery. Combining audience interaction, split action, and more traditional scenes, the play juxtaposes extremes of good and bad luck, with life and/or death consequences. The play has no easy answers, just the raw truth.

A play that brings out a subtle metaphor in a gut-punching conclusion. The beginning compels you to pay attention, delivering maximum impact at the end. Well done!

The playwright really recreates a dog's thought process in this well structured and enjoyable little piece.

A great little adventure drama that gives a real sense of history and place. With interesting parallels to the 19th century serial killer and today's pandemic, this would be a great piece in a themed evening, or just any 10 minute festival.
