So sweet, so honest, so real. Playwright Cassidy Byron writes with great authenticity about what happens in college dorm rooms, the switches and reverses, the starts and stops, the hesitations and beginnings. I loved spending time with these four study buddies. Jonathan and Roger are people I'd love to hang out with. Read it and produce it!
  • The Crown versus Santa Claus

Letimov! Letimov! A hysterical farce in which every character gets their day in court. Playwright Christopher Plumridge has great fun with courtroom and Santa tropes and so do we. Word puns abound, but at the core of this crazed universe is a sweetness about the true meaning of Christmas and the sweet belief of children. Would love to see this performed. Ho ho ho!
  • Companion

A very touching and compassionate play about loneliness and being human. Playwright Mackenzie Raine Kirkman has crafted a play that will have you thinking about what it means to exist, to connect, and to bridge the gap of separation. A beautiful work that will linger in your mind, whether human or A.I.
  • Questions

A gem of a play about what we hide and what we reveal. Katie and Steve find in answering questions on a new app, a bigger question of partner expectations. I feel for both these characters and the 'new normal' they are navigating. Playwright Jeffrey James Keyes writes with great craft and compassion. This play will stay with you long after the last page.
  • Eighty-One

An absolute stunner of a play. Playwright Bethany Dickens Assaf writes complex, complicated characters that we can't help but feel compassion for. It's always a joy to read a play with a character who's a playwright and in Eighty-One we have two. A gorgeous rumination on isolation, parents and adult children, the ties that fray and the ties that bind. Read this and produce it!
  • A Night on the Bridge

What a beautiful play. Poetic, full of surprises, full of empathy for the pain and pleasure of being a human being on this planet. John Medlin evokes a whole world in our imagination with a sparseness of dialogue. Observing these two characters connect is a great joy. Thank you John Medlin for creating these characters, based on a true situation. It will stay with you a long time.
  • To The Moon!
    15 Jan. 2023
A hilarious short play about the webs we weave when we deceive. Joe's lie fuels him all the way to the moon with two astronauts who tell it like it is. So creative and wonderful, To The Moon! is a perfect example of theatricality, imagination, and humor. Playwright Lisa Dellagiarino Feriend has crafted a delightful comedy that should be produced everywhere.
  • The Box

I often think about the energy that human beings- and their furry companions - leave behind in places they've lived. Does their happiness and sadness reside in the walls? Do the molecules shimmer with their hopes and dreams? Where does the love go? In Christopher Soucy's beautiful play The Box, Phil and Nell confront their emotions about moving out of their first home together as they dig through a box left by previous occupants. We come to care not only about Phil and Nell, but Max and Melissa, who we never even meet. Bravo. Read and produce!
  • A Ruby in a Sky of Diamonds
    15 Jan. 2023
This play shines as brightly as the diamonds in the sky with ruby. I had a lump in my throat when reading it. Playwright Christopher Plumridge has written with great empathy and craft, tapped into a universal longing...to speak with our loved ones one more time after they pass through the veil. This is gorgeous writing. Summer and April will stay with you long after the last page, and in your heart. Read this and produce it, hopefully immediately!
  • Touch Me in the Morning (Ten Minute)
    15 Jan. 2023
Oh, the cleverness of Paul Donnelly, who draws upon everyone's experiences with dreams to create a delightful and thought-provoking piece. The time-space continuum gets shaken up a bit for Steve and Jack who must find their way back home with a new outlook. Pithy, sharp dialogue, laugh-out-loud lines, and a very satisfying payoff for characters and audience alike! Read and produce.
