  • Neighbor! Neighbor!

A very funny short play, Neighbor! Neighbor! has a fantastic twist at the end. A delight for actors to play and for a director to block, Playwright Bhattacharya has created a humorous poke at community relations. A 'jewel' of a play that will keep you laughing.
  • The Not So Comfortable Interview
    12 Jun. 2023
A laugh-out loud piece with a twist at the end I didn't see coming. Playwright Kitty Harper deftly skewers toxic corporate culture in this dark satire. Would love to see this play performed, or better yet, part of every corporate training seminar!
  • Midler on the Roof
    12 Jun. 2023
As a huge Bette-Yvette -Annette fan, bigger even than the Sarge's wife, I was laughing non-stop at this farce. The Divine Miss M has always had a larger than life persona, and playwright John Busser nails it in this absurd comedy. Shoes will rain down, googling will commence, and all will be well up until the final twist. From the title to the last line - a hoot. Read and produce this gem!
  • Playgroup
    11 Jun. 2023
To know Jennifer O'Grady's writing is to love Jennifer O'Grady's writing, and Playgroup is no exception. O'Grady vividly and expertly sets the scene of a mommy and baby playdate group, and lets some truth bombs fly. The details are delicious, and weary moms everywhere will be nodding their heads in agreement at every line. A clever twist at the end deftly sums up the balancing act and pro/con lists every mother has in her head. A fantastic monologue.
  • Lady Business (from the THE WRINKLE RANCH AND OTHER PLAYS ABOUT GROWING OLD collection)
    11 Jun. 2023
A hysterically funny, razor-sharp satire of certain human biological processes. I loved every minute of this play, having passed through all these stages into the year-round white pants wearing gang. Playwright Debra Cole expertly crafts a comedy that contains some thought-provoking lines and concepts in-between the laughs.
  • October Surprise (Ten Minute Version)
    6 Jun. 2023
"c'mon, baby, let's do the twist!" Playwright Robert Weibezahl writes twists like the writer warrior he is, and October Surprise is a doozy. Lauren, Jessica, and the entire story will rivet you. Kudos to Robert Weibezahl for once again crafting a taut ten, eminently readable and produceable.
  • Out of the Woods
    6 Jun. 2023
I have the good fortune to be in the writers room with playwright Robert Wiebezahl as he continues to workshop this play. With each iteration it becomes even more mystical, intriguing, and the best kind of theatre - filled with space for the audience's imagination. You'll be deeply invested in Orfie and Mercy and won't want the play to end. Read it and celebrate this fantastic story from a writer I deeply admire.
  • Clara the Christmas Tree Angel (ten-minute play)
    8 May. 2023
As Clara aptly states, "Delish!" A lovely short play about reclaiming Christmas as your own after a painful breakup. Playwright Enid Cokonos hits all the right notes in this holiday-themed play about moving forward and creating new memories. It's no surprise it's gotten productions - a fantastic addition to any theatre festival!
  • Sticks and Stones
    1 May. 2023
I had the great good luck of watching this play be workshopped in our writer's group and am the richer for it. Engaging characters, a gripping story, and crackling dialogue make Sticks and Stones a timeless and timely play. As an educator I related to so much in this piece; as a human, everyone will! Read and produce this latest gem from playwright Dan Taube.
  • Tree Hugs
    1 May. 2023
a beautiful, moving play about what it's like to be a sentient being on this earth. I'm so glad I found this play and hope everyone on earth will read it. Father-son dynamics, insight into the tree network, both funny and heartbreaking, Tree Hugs will have you going on a nature walk before you know it. Just watch out for the pine cones!
