  • THE HARROWING - 10-minute drama in development (autumn 2020)
    2 Oct. 2020
Aptly named, The Harrowing takes on a Herculean task and does it well- encompassing over 30 years in the span of a ten-minute play. Reminiscent of Thornton Wilder’s Our Town with the effective use of direct address and stage visuals, playwright Elan Garonzik deftly takes us on a journey through the five stages of grief. As someone who lost a 20-year -old nephew in a mountain accident, I can attest to the authenticity and dramatic import. Mr. Garonzik captures the agony and the loss beautifully and honestly.
  • (SHORT COMEDY:) Every Inch Counts
    2 Oct. 2020
A hysterically funny play that ratchets up the foreplay to a surprising climax. Jeffrey and Jackie will have you looking at your plush animals with a tinge of worry. A physical tour de force for two actors who can let it all out. Irene L. Pynn adroitly shows is that every inch does indeed count!
  • Gown
    23 Sep. 2020
What a gorgeous piece of writing. Gown has it all - humor, pathos, an all-women cast, and a very relatable yet surprising twist. I'd love to see this produced. Robert Weibezahl has once again set the bar high for fellow playwrights - give us a break, will ya? - with this beautiful short play. Have hankies at the ready as you say Yes to the Dress, and yes to Lynn, Annie and Courtney.
  • BY THE NEON LIGHTS OF THE TACO BELL SIGN
    18 Sep. 2020
Trinity is probably very busy right now with soothing visits during the pandemic...I'm so glad Monica Cross' imaginative mind created this character. A funny, sweet, unsettling short play about food, stress, and friendship. There's more than meets the eye - or taco - in this one-act sketch. You'll definitely be hungry after reading this one. A gastronomer's delight - or nightmare - depending how you feel about Taco Bell!
  • The Audition
    16 Sep. 2020
A fun play and a tour de force for two actors. Kudos to dramatist Lou Ann K. Behan for writing a role for an older woman, and for having such a blast with her characters. An engaging play about how you never know, and how the world is really so small - six degrees of separation. The Audition will leave you wanting to spend the rest of the day with Molly and Beau!

A deliciously fun and surprising play about a retired third grade teacher who runs into her former student when she is trying to return something. A treat for actors to play, and a wonderful reinforcement that intimate relationships can be enjoyed and anticipated even in the senior years. Would love to see this performed. Buy the six-pack!
  • CLAIREVOYANT [10-Minute Play]
    11 Sep. 2020
I was fortunate to have one of my plays share the stage with CLAIREVOYANT in a ten-minute play festival. As a lover and student of all things metaphysical, playwright Nathan Christopher had me from 'tarot card'. A wonderful play that covers so much ground in ten minutes; a relationship that has fallen apart, family genetics, looking for signs...The characters are active, clear and sensitively drawn. I hope it gets produced many more times...and I 'predict' that it will!
  • Climate Change
    11 Sep. 2020
As a Floridian, and former New Yorker, I heartily approve of this play, and so will you! Philip Middleton Williams brings his signature panache and comic mien to the subject of temperature. This one is red hot!
  • Bartleby & Bess (5-10 minute play)
    11 Sep. 2020
A beautiful short play about love, hope, and pencils. Such a gorgeous monologue that will tear at your heart and make you throw out all your pens. Playwright Elisabeth Giffin Speckman provides a window into one man's soul with great craft and compassion. Read it and produce it!
  • Joy Ride
    11 Sep. 2020
Christine Foster, you had me at "Findhorn". A wonderfully comedic, heartwarming play with some surprise twists. A delight for actors to portray. Spreading the ashes is merely the cover for something deeper going on between mother and daughter. Take this Joy Ride and find out - Parkay!
