  • Arianna Rose: The Happy Place

I was lucky enough to see a production of THE HAPPY PLACE in Florida. The playwright deftly navigates farce and pathos, humor and loss in one ten-minute play. Very relatable and endearing characters in a play that is all about location, location, location!

  • Arianna Rose: Most Wonderful

Dental floss! Beans! Chinese take-out! All these items make one heck of a Christmas story. At its heart, a heartwarming story about the families we choose, and the friendships we nurture. A beautiful play for the holiday season or anytime. Read it, produce it!

  • Arianna Rose: The Education of Jenna

What a beautiful, honest, extremely relatable gem of a play! The twist is truly wonderful, and you will feel for this three characters with distinctly different viewpoints. A bonus that the three characters are women. This play is getting produced and it is easy to see why. Read it, recommend it, produce it!

  • Arianna Rose: MODERN MIRACLE

Such a smart, funny satire. Steven G. Martin does it right in a play peopled with vibrant, interesting and instantly recognizable characters. He deftly pokes fun at current food trends and limitations while slipping in a couple of truths about humanity and helping one another along the way. I would love to see this. I would love to direct it. I wish I had written it! Enjoy this fantastic comedy.

  • Arianna Rose: MISSED CONNECTIONS (a 10 minute play)

A charming rom-com for twenty-something actors. Ms. O’Neill-Butler perfectly captures the social anxiety and longing for love in a sweet and funny play.

  • Arianna Rose: FINDING HELP (a 10 minute play)

This play is being produced everywhere and it is easy to see why! Warm, funny, richly drawn characters who grapple with a very relatable situation. Ms. O’Neill-Butler once again demonstrates her immense skill and talents as a playwright and keen observer of life.

  • Arianna Rose: Celtic Knot

I was riveted from page one. A beautiful story about love, loss, and forgiveness. Lyrical and poetic yet rooted in an Irish earthiness and honesty that will stay with you long after the last page. I could hear the characters in my mind throughout. I so look forward to seeing a production of this. Read it, savor it, produce it!

  • Arianna Rose: Welcome to Fourbucks

As someone who steadfastly refuses to use words like 'grande' when in a Starbucks, I salute this play and playwright. Thank you for pointing out the absurdity of an increasingly complicated societal more.
