So disturbing! So much fun! Playwright Jo Brisbane goes dark and deep in this comedy about the current human condition as seen through some very familiar and beloved characters. Would love to see this performed. Read it and produce it!

I have had the pleasure of seeing this beautiful piece of theatre performed. Mr. Karp deftly uses magical realism in this nuanced story of an elderly woman's love of nature, and the son who has a hard time coming to terms with her request. Mr. Karp's humanity shines through every line.

I was lucky enough to see a reading of this. You don't have to know anything about Little Women to be thoroughly absorbed in Ms. Hoke's writing and the lives of these four sisters. It's a true testament to both Ms. Hoke and Ms. Alcott that these timeless characters can be adapted into something so timely and resonant for modern day. Those who are familiar with the book will doubly enjoy seeing how brilliantly Ms. Hoke takes the essentials of each woman at their core being and weaves it into a present-day story. I can't wait to see this onstage.

I had the great pleasure of seeing a reading of Adrift at Theatre Lab’s New Plays Festival. Inventive, funny, fresh, with characters that are both recognizable yet unique. Would love to see a full production of this piece so get on that, theatre companies!

Karen Fix Curry is such a gifted writer, you feel like Wendy Wasserstein is in the room with you. Wendy's warmth, her humor, her unique outlook on life jump off each page, thanks to Ms. Curry's sensitive treatment of the subject. As a fan of Ms. Wasserstein, who grew up in the same era, with the same type of Jewish parents, I loved every word of this piece and the opportunity to learn more about her life and upbringing. Read it. Produce it.
