What a fun and sweet play! Andrew Martineau has created two characters that instantly seem familiar to me. Hopefully and romantic in the most mundane of settings, Spin Cycle suggests that happiness can be found anywhere.

What a beautiful play. We could never truly know all the small things we’ve done in our lives that impacted others profoundly. And all those who have impacted us may be oblivious of their contribution to our stories. A wonderful reminder that sometimes being ourselves is enough to change the world. One encounter at a time.

Chilling. Absolutely chilling. In a world where justice seems fleeting, this okay nails the abject dread of the evils that men get away with. This is a great contained suspenseful play.

Delightful mating rituals of strange and mysterious beings, and there was an alien too. This enjoyable romp tells the story of two souls adrift in the cosmos looking for love. Fun and funny!

As a combat veteran, this monologue rang familiar. There is a process to normalizing the hardships. It always struck me that the elasticity of a young brain can stretch over the horrors of war, even though it means that it might very well snap. Robert Weibezahl captures the yearning to reach out to the old self, the people who knew the “real” you. It is a potent piece.

What a potent monologue for any performer. We’ve all been in dungeons that kept us from our dreams. Some of us fight daily against the constraints of time, biology, and circumstance. Bravo to Christopher Plumridge!

A wonderfully dark look at exploitation and expectation. Dolls are collected, kept, and abused. They are expected to be perfect and are often discarded when there are any flaws, They are made to serve, obey, and never change. What a tragedy a doll’s life is. Debra Cole slyly sneaks some painful truths into this fantasy piece.

I am a sucker for good noir, and this is good noir! Fun and funny with slick dialogue and punchy characters. Would be a hoot to watch come holiday season.

Memento Mori. Memento Vivere. How we connect to one another and how we cherish one another is never more focused than in the presence of death. Robert Weibezhal delivers a wonderful monologue full of memories and the items that conjure them.

Who doesn’t love a good urban legend? Cole Dzubak gives us a chilling tale of what becomes of us when we don’t care where we end up. Reminiscent of an episode of the Twilight Zone on stage.
