  • Rachel Bublitz: Self Promoted

A tight and focused ten-minute that had me cringing with anticipation in the best possible way. SELF PROMOTED also had a few great moments of surprise, and three meaty roles for actors to dig into. Well done!

  • Rachel Bublitz: The Loneliest Road in America - Part of the "United Plays of America" Anthology (Nevada)

My favorite aspect of THE END OF THE ROAD Is the plays ability to be funny, touching, and scary all at once. Haas has two well developed sister characters as well, and enough suspense to keep any audience on the edge of their seats.

  • Rachel Bublitz: RUFF! RUFF! RUFF! A One-Minute Play for Two Kids

Really cute and fun. Wyndham captures a child's logic and tactics flawlessly.

  • Rachel Bublitz: FRIENDS WITH GUNS

I love how complex and complicated Walker allows all the characters to be. FRIENDS WITH GUNS deals with character first, and then the issue at hand, which is what I want from every play. Another excellent aspect of the script is the easy comedy and honesty in the dialogue. I'd run to see this in production, highly recommend!

  • Rachel Bublitz: BROKE/FIX

This play pulls in so many direction, and I love it. It's disturbing, disgusting, and delightful all at the same time. Not only does Femia leave a ton for actors to dig into, but she gives tremendous opportunity to designers and the director as well.

  • Rachel Bublitz: Retch Gag Spew Hurl Heave Eject

This monologue is visceral and the right actor would just murder an audition with it. The imagery is disturbing, but also perfectly specific. Well done.

  • Rachel Bublitz: The Woman American

Talk about a play that shows solidarity among women! This dark comedy is a joy to read and totally hilarious, I'd love to see it produced.

  • Rachel Bublitz: Stand Still

Talk about suspense! Just throw a freakin' grizzly bear into your monologue and that does the trick! I was instantly pulled into the life of this woman and her new husband. With STAND STILL Cooper does a fantastic job of giving three very different characters life and she does this with only ONE of those characters talking.

  • Rachel Bublitz: Goodnight

Really dark and really funny. I love the obsession of the smell, and the obsession to figure out what it is. Pazniokas handles time in a really refreshing way, and all of the characters are fascinating to listen to.

  • Rachel Bublitz: Everlast

Something that really excites me about Pazniokas' writing, and with this play, EVERLAST, is the role she puts the audience in. As audience members we are involved in the conversation and the stakes of these characters, and for me, that just pulls me more in to the story. I also love the specifics in EVERLAST, and the depth of both world and character created in so few pages.
