I found my heart pumping while reading this play. The connection between Helen and Peter is palpable. But is it meant to be? Or is he reaching out because his own marriage may be failing. A very satisfying but enigmatic ending.

  • THIRD WINDOW FROM THE RIGHT
    13 Dec. 2020
This is a delicious play about the possibility of a new romance. Its simplicity is delightful, as two people start to get to know each other while sitting on a park bench. Kate sits there every weekday eating her lunch. Henry watches her every day from his rent controlled apartment. Finally, after winning a playwriting contest, and making a promise to himself, he has the courage to come down and sit on the bench. This short play touches your heart.
  • A RESERVATION
    11 Dec. 2020
This short, funny play has a confusion of words and meanings and even the characters get mixed up. Fast paced, this would be a fun addition to any shots festival.
  • The Other Side
    10 Dec. 2020
The Other Side is a remarkable short play. It deals with the Holocaust, but in such an unusual way. Set in the waiting room of a gas chamber, it deals with strength, pride, and family. It's a quiet piece given what's about to happen, but that makes it even more moving. Read this short play. It's a beautiful piece of theatre.
