  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: The Cup (one-minute play)

Simple yet effective, a lot of things are said in this one minute play, and only writers as competent as Weaver can deliver such impactfulness in 60 seconds.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: 19 Excellent Reasons to Date Matthew Weaver (a monologue)

As someone who struggles with not giving himself enough credit (as told by my partner who wishes I would see myself the way they see me), I understand this piece. It's not just funny, it is relatable on many, many levels.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: -1

My first play by Matthew Weaver, and man what a ride it was! Nicely written humor, great pacing, and despite all of the characters not having distinct names, each performer has a story and they are all distinct! Fantastic work!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: The Not-So-Haunted Auditorium

Brilliant horror comedy with a fun twist ending, a great short play that looks into the consequences of leaving a ghost light onstage.

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Spirited

A fantastic slow burn that is equally funny and terrifying! DC Cathro showcases expertise is building suspense and natural, witty dialogue!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: An Invocation To His Muse

Brilliantly written, Aly Kantor brings Josephine Hopper to life in this wonderful short play that brings a new lens on the world of art and art in general! Nicely done!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: The Fallow Garden

Scott Sickles is a master writer, and that is clearly seen here with this brilliant one act. I couldn't put it down, just waiting to see what would happen next. The dialogue is rich, the characters are interesting and distinct, and the ending is everything! Bravo!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: In the Blood

Lindsay Partain has a fantastic grip on the world of horror and suspense. What makes this piece so fantastic is the world building, in a few pages Partain gives you every hint you need to know of what exactly is going on and what state of mind these characters are in. This reminds me of being in middle school watching the walking dead. Fantastic work!

  • Cole Hunter Dzubak: Crossing Lines

What is adventure? How does one even begin to define it? I don't know if I have an answer, but Joe Swenson masterfully crafts such a fantastic story of adventure and thrill. The characters in this piece are so well defined and each have their own purpose and are beautifully written, especially Zacharia and Rachel, whose arcs in this piece are so just... I don't even have the words. Words can't describe how much I loved reading this piece. Swenson does it again with this one, this is a true example of what theatre is.
