There's a heartache in this play that I felt deeply. There's a longing for authentic (even if temporary) companionship (with others who share your name), communication (with the help of party games) and community (in a party room at Bar 'n Grill). Our protagonist, bored by her job and unfufilling life, becomes a clever stand-in for many of us, disenchanted fools of capitalism.
There's a hopefulness, an optimism that I love in this play.
You may find kinship with Tracy and may get inspired to host your own party!
Easy to produce. Check it out.

  • Asher Wyndham: Hyenas

King tackles inter-generational gay love and sex in this perfectly-paced drama. Older man and young man getting it on - it's a turn-on for many in the community, and it also raises a legitimate question: Could this kind of relationship move beyond lust into a sustained, committed relationship? Like all relationships with age gaps, this play tackles issues of communication, trust, honesty, finance, past relationships and sexual behavior - and it's at times romantic, blissful, sexy, kinky, poignant, sad, depressing. This play is emotionally complex, and an audience should find this nothing but...

    More Trevor the Vampire please!
    Sweet little play with surprises.
If you're producing a one-minute or short play Halloween showcase, consider this.

  • Asher Wyndham: Man Boobs

On small scale, one scene, one place (takes place in studio apartment in Queens), but this play is so big on issues and emotions that it breaks the walls and makes this universal. This play holds up a full-view mirror for gays, letting us see our insecurities, traumas, and self-concept shaped by toxic masculinity -- and shatters it. This play, yes, is sexy, playful, kinky, shirts come off, we see nips, but shit gets real -- real connection, understanding, empathy, an intimacy that's transcendent, beautiful. PRODUCE THIS!

  • Asher Wyndham: MLM is for Murder (Or, Your Side Hustle is Killing Us)

Ridicuously funny and campy, but also smart and serious at the same time.
It's a dark comedy with strangulation by leggings that's also a critique of late-stage capitalism and its negatives effects on stay-at-home and working women.
This will appeal to anyone -- not just women - who are working a dead-end job meeting metrics and deadlines, those post-college disenchanted 20-30 somethings that want more out of life, who want to follow their passions.

  • Asher Wyndham: Jason's Dog

A flawed character full of remorse and darkness that elicits empathy.
A monologue that speaks to the emotional transformation for an owner of a pet like a dog.
    Another compelling work on masculinity.
Hageman gives male-identifying actors something unexpected, neccessary, illuminating, transformative.
Read and recommend this monologue for your student actor looking for monologues for competition.

  • Asher Wyndham: Smelly Shelly

A much needed play addressing how trauma resulting from school bullying still affects adults and how they relate.
An intense two-hander that would be a great scene for beginning actors in college or any festival.

  • Asher Wyndham: Olizzia

Friendship and sexuality are explored honestly in this unexpected romantic comedy. It's a vacation gone wrong for all the right reasons.
Audience members should be charmed by these besties turned lovers. It's sexy, but Bavoso is interested in more than sexy.
    Easy-to-produce! Check it out!

Sexbots are the future, there's no denying it.
We learn enough about the master through this monologue from the perspective of the sexbot, and that raises questions about toxic masculinity and views of women and sexuality now and makes us wonder about all that in a future state.
Creepy from start to finish. A great addition to our sci-fi theatre.
