This plays reminds you that behind some perfect photos, some holiday snapshots, behind the illusion of perfect family, there's a secret, there's trauma and violence - something hidden for years, maybe forever.
This kind of story is a metoo story that needs the stage. Consider this for your theatre program on sexual abuse and rape.

Smith seems to have slowed down time in this dramedy set in a cemetery. It's an atypical setting for what could be a possible future relationship, but it allows for perfect connection for two strangers. It's a connection that's uncontrived, develops naturally, and allows for rumination on big themes - life, death, and love - and also teenage uncertainties and friendship.

This play uses actors and theatre boxes to create a spectacle of Simon's mind, an externalization of his thought-process on stage. In doing so, it forgets time, creating a fluidity of space and movement that's refreshing, revealing and ruminative.

This should be considered for your comedy showcase -- just make sure you have a costume designer who can find some hot dog costumes on eBay.

Makes you think about how even with best education and parenting, our children can easily be influenced by lies on the Internet.
