Fascinating drama. Although set in a lawyers office, it has little to do with the law. A fine distinction is drawn between doing what’s legal and doing what’s right. Excellent writing. Highly recommended.

There is a great sense of humor to this play. Funny and charming and very relatable. Shows you all the idiosyncrasies and hypocrisies and messiness that come with any long term relationship. A very funny read.

I am usually not a big fan of office plays, but this play transcends the genre into something big and important and of, course uncomfortable. The tension in this play is incredibly real and relatable. Tightly crafted dialogue and great plotting make this one of the best short plays I have ever read.

A delightful play with a twist at the end that really makes you go, AHA! Wonderful characters, dialogue and story-telling. A real delight. Highly recommended!

Fantastic dialogue with a set of circumstances that really make one think. What are the agreements we make to get what we want. Tatelman really draws you in to what her characters are thinking. A intellectually and morally challenging play. I would love to see it done!

Much more to this script than meets the eye. Take away the superhero part and this is the universal relationship struggle of “If you love me, you have to accept all of me, including the uncomfortable parts.” Great story. Great characters. Excellent work.

I loved this play. Marchant does a great job of making us think this is a pissing contest between two dads, when in fact one of them is extremely sad, vulnerable and scared. Excellent plotting. A damn good read.

A thrilling story that manages to avoid all the usual cliches of a man in prison trying to do better. Fiercely theatrical in its intent to be a treatise on the importance of story telling. Clive and his fellow characters tell a story you will not soon forget. Very enjoyable read.
  • End of a Long, Long Day (a monologue)

A lovely piece of writing. So complete within one monologue. The character he creates here is funny, inspiring, gentle, passionate and wise. The subtlety and subtext extremely potent. A most enjoyable read!

Loved the unresolved nature of the story. I was truly frightened by what the student might do, or could do. The trail of bread crumbs left by the teacher along the way was also masterfully done. This is how to write a good ten minute play. Highly enjoyable!
