  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Game Night (Humans Only, Please) - one-act

This would be a great one act for student actors to stretch all of their theatre skills: Acting, directing, designing, choreography...There is so much potential to make this a very unique and personal piece for your group. A true ensemble play where everyone gets to do something fun and shine.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Cold Foam (monologue)

This monologue starts off as an ode to coffee and twists and mutates into a spotlight on casual, unrecognized racism in the white, liberal community. Very upsetting and illuminating.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Seasons

Well, now I know why the weather has been so "drunk" lately! This is a clever take on the personification of the seasons as well as other classic fantasy characters. A very fun short play to produce, perform and see!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Shadow Ban

This is a dark scifi comedy about what troubles many of us on the internet today. And with AI creeping in at a terrifying pace, being accepted with open arms, this very play could happen to you! Just make sure you keep plenty of vodka stocked, just in case it does...

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Cooler Near the Lake

This play takes place at a family summer getaway. And that is exactly what the characters in this play use the setting as, a place to get away...from everything. But after a memorial service, and perhaps a couple of drinks for some of them, their pasts and troubles catch up to them. Slowly, like a lazy summer day by the lake, the issues creep in and demand attention. It's hard to avoid the rocks in the road when you're wearing flip flops. This was a beautiful and personal play about love and the search for happiness.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Table for Thirteen

This monologue reads like a classic Bob Newhart monologue! Just in time for the Easter season, prep this one for your family dinner! They will love it. Sweet and hilarious, even though it's one of the sadder stories of the New Testament. Everyone likes a good "after dinner/before the Last Supper" speech!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Mr. Spinoza, Substitute Creature

I knew I would like this play, the premise is so fun and original...But I LOVE this play! Just picturing the whole thing, accents and all, I couldn't stop laughing! This would be perfect for professional actors as well as student actors. Busser never fails to entertain, but seriously, this is one to promote, print and produce! It ticks all the boxes for me and it will for you, too!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: PIE-LICIOUS: OPEN TIL MIDNIGHT

Oh this is such a GREAT horror/comedy play! I knew I was in love as soon as they started discussing the street names. This is not like any horror play you've ever read or seen and I hope it gets seen a lot! Very clever, creepy and fun!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Bygones

This is a snapshot of a moment. Not of the terror Candace experienced in the past, but of the strength Candace now has to not sit and take it from Dieter anymore. Despite him believing and acting like he is the "reasonable one." That is what makes Dieter so scary. But it is clear, Candace will not give up her control. Unfortunately, it is also clear, Dieter won't stop trying. And there are a LOT of Dieters out there.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Water: A Fish Tale

This did not even remotely go the way I expected and I love this play for it! Just when you think you've seen the twist, SPLASH! Another twist! So funny! A great piece for younger actors to really have a great time with. I think there is a lot more to mine from this topic, too. Schools would love a modern day fairy tale like this in their season.
