  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: CREATURE COMFORTS

Everyone needs a distraction from the horrors or even the little annoyances of the world. Who are we to judge what works to calm someone else? Except when your means of emotional support is another's trigger. And here is where we find Barney and Winston. A very fun short to produce! From design to performance, this will be a very memorable part of an evening of short plays.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Death's Defeat

This really shook me to my core. I have tears in my eyes. The innocence of how these three friends digest the events that just happened to them is so beautiful. But it is absolutely heartbreaking and infuriating that this is such a relatable topic. This would be extremely powerful to witness staged. Perhaps staged for the people who have the power to make the changes necessary to make this a historical piece instead of so very timely.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Bear - Diamonds are for Heather

Once again, our Bear inserts himself smack dab in the middle of history and chaos. And, of course, his heroics don't disappoint! It was sweet to see, as much as Bear wants credit for saving the day once again, he was willing to share the reward with his new found love, Heather...

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Bridge to Reality, Come in Reality

Sweet, awkward and a perfectly fun piece for student actors to tackle together.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: young women of valor

This is a very real postcard moment from Jewish Summer camp. A great piece for young actors to tackle with natural dialogue and many unsaid moments.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Divided Requiem (One Act)

This play hit me hard. Both Max and Gerald have very real, very powerful feelings and they put them at odds with one another. People handle grief in such different ways and sometimes love isn't enough to save anyone. An absolute masterpiece of a short that will have audiences really looking inward at their own relationships. Tragedies are what shape us and either tear us apart or bring us closer together.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Wrap Up

This play is reminiscent of old sketch comedy shows. I can picture the likes of Tim Conway and Harvey Korman starring in this piece! Or a Don Rickles and Johnny Carson! Fast paced word play in a classic setting. I especially love the "spelling" jokes! "That's with TWO ducks." Hilarious! A classic Busser piece!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Role Play

I love the potential for design and staging this piece. I also love/hate that this is a "period piece" reflecting life from my high school days, doing RP with my friends via passed notebooks and then trying to bring it to life in chat rooms. Great opportunities for performers!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Watchwomen

I totally laughed out loud at the dry humor mixed with the outlandish premise of who may be approaching with war on their minds! So much fun to stage, from performance to design, especially the final sound cue!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Street Has I's

What a wonderful mish-mash of styles! Sesame Street noir? You can COUNT me in! So fun, so cute and so many ways this can be played! I'd love to see Omar solve this crime and more!
