  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Dr. Wu Has Been Eliminated

Get ready for the greatest comedy duo of all time- Drone 1 and Drone 2! It doesn't matter what their names are, but their resumes speak (hilariously) for themselves! This piece will KILL at your theatre...I mean, your audiences will be "taken care of." Just a fun look into the inner workings of an evil conglomerate.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Theories of the Pole

These are all very strong female characters. I really love Joyce's voice of reason without being condescending and overly "mom" like. I love Jill's real, in the moment reactions. I love Megan's leadership/attempts at leadership. I love that Hallie is more than just "the hot girl." But I also love Roberta's journey. This is a strong piece for some great actors!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Right as Rain (Full Length)

True love never dies. Neither do true friendships. This play is a series of picture postcards, snapshots of the years 3 intertwined souls are together (and apart) through the years. An idyllic setting, a message of "wish you were here," and a giant stamp of love. Hearts will swell in the audience from this production and they will leave determined to hold their love and friendships that much closer.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Sarsaparilla

This is a play that will resonate with actors and open eyes for those who never had the "pleasure" to act. This would actually be a great piece to train intimacy directors! Seriously consider this for your programs!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Figment with a Capital F (10 Min)

This was such a sweet play about a grown woman so afraid of being honest with her mother that her childhood imaginary friend comes to help her out! I loved how Kelly remained exactly how she was the last time she was in her person's life. Stuck in a time warp, wanting to play and fascinated with the new technology around her. But I honestly loved the one sided phone conversations with mom. They are hilarious and very well written! Just a warm and fuzzy piece about growing up, family and being true to who you are!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: ACCIDENTALLY UNLIKE A MONSTER

I love the way this story is framed. A rock star confronting his demons through the personification of a song. It's almost like a memory, but with the twisted oddity of a dream. Nothing is as it seems. I love the line "It's hard to be somebody." Absolutely poetic. And cool as hell!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Here's Your Sandwich

I love the way the timeline glitches slightly at the end of this! As a writer, I've been there. Although my stage directions would read, "Leaning back, hands behind head, eyes are closed and she IS asleep. THE END". But that's why PMW is a much better writer than I am! I love the characters in this piece and their relationship. It's very relatable and fun!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Her Smile

This piece had me on the edge of my seat, ready to get very frustrated...and I believe that is the point. I actually picture this as a short film. The Barman and Lalita in black & white (except the red dress, of course) and Michael in full color as he recounts this hotel encounter, until the end when everything comes into full color and focus. It feels like a wonderful art piece with a great message.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Clumps

This play makes you uncomfortable from the start and you're not sure why. As you hear Mallory and Logan's stories, you are drawn in, but you notice little things that are off about those stories. The dark twist was definitely a surprise. Great opportunities for two actors to show some range as well as designers to create a moody environment.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Eden 2

This play is funny and sad at the same time. The "voice of God" is just so witty, but, of course, terrifying! The truth she speaks is hard to argue with! As an actor, this may be the first time I would fight to play a role no one sees! I love the concept and the message within. This would be a winning piece in a short play showcase.
