OMG I cried at the end of this play. This is exactly the kind of sci-fi I love. It has you feeling empty, uneasy and a little scared. But at the end you have a glimmer of hope. And in this case, love. Absolutely brilliant discourse about love, humanity and where we can go in a distant future. Dax, Dan, and even Cindy are wonderful characters that I hope have a brilliant future!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: My Vagina Has A First Name

Okay, this group is #FriendshipGoals. I wish I had a girl group like this! Witty banter and great support for one another. With strong, distinct characters, I found myself wanting to pour myself a glass of wine and pretend I read some book, too! I LOVE Becky!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Need to Know?

Both women in this story have very real, very believable and strong feelings at odds with one another. In a very uncomfortable, but necessary confrontation, we learn a lot about what some people can turn a blind eye to in order to continue to pretend things are fine. But the twist at the end leaves me wishing I had a friend like Girl 1, and also, I hope to never cross anyone like Girl 1! A true pillar of justice! By any means necessary.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: You Went There -Audio Version

Some couples celebrate strange milestones. Their first kiss. Their first argument. Even the first time they may have farted in front of one another. But this? This one takes the pie...yup, I went there, too! Busser crafts a very believable couple in this wacky comedy about love, marriage, and embracing the familiarity only a couple together as long as Janice and Gordon have been. It's good to celebrate the little things...no offense, Gordon!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Everything Bagel

This piece broke my heart to pieces. Absolutely devastating. The characters are so relatable and you want to reach through the page and help them all. A tragic poem of a play.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Cassie Strickland Is Not Under the Bed

I was so drawn in to this story. I needed to know WHY Clay was stuck in bed. I needed to know IF there was something under the bed. And I needed to know how to truly feel as the back story was slowly revealed. Eerie and tragic.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Mass Shooting

A chilling short piece. A painting of the worst horrors anyone can endure. And this isn't just about a shooting. It's about things that tear us up inside. Not just bullets, but words, actions/inactions, legislation and apathy. This play will suck all the air out of the room, but hopefully when the lights come up and everyone breathes again, they will also feel, think and act to change the trajectory of this "bullet."

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Don't I Know You?

I love the easy conversation and connection the two characters have. Then, the last lines! What a surprise, Laugh out Loud!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Lessons

The dialogue in this short play just sparkles. The characters are absolutely wonderful and endearing. This is a great piece to showcase a mother and son acting team in your next short play festival!
