The magic of this play is "enough." Absolutely fun and beautiful. It begins relatable and claustrophobic, trapped in a tiny apartment during the pandemic. But on Scratch Off Sunday, we get to dream with Jayson and Dagney. So full of whimsy, with opportunity for designers to execute a little stage magic!

Oh wow! This is the start of a very intense and dark sci-fi concept of a play! I was hooked from the minute the woman sat down next to poor Barry. They are both very well drawn characters. But the phone as a device for Barry to get what he wants? Absolutely inspired! Definitely leaves you wanting more!

This sci-fi one act is absolutely beautiful. It really dives into the "mechanics" of what makes someone "human" and what can make you love another human. It's easy to say you love a person for who they are, not what they look like, but the darkest corners of our minds will always wonder what if? This is so deep and lovely. Cricket's final moment of gifting life to the plant is just soul feeding!

This is an absolutely brilliant way to combine the massive popularity of pickleball with the sass of a Shakespearean style bet! This is the one act that will fill seats at your theatre! Including the stylized pickleball game scene that will have theatre lovers and pickleball players excited and talking about this show forever. What a great concept for a play!

This play is insane in the best possible ways! Demonic/Americana with a murderous nuclear family. And the “he followed me home from school, can we keep him?” bit you would never expect! Now this is the laugh out loud gore fest we never knew we were missing!

Pat is at it again! This time bringing hope and joy to future children! What a sweet origin story for Pat to help create!

This literary murder mystery would be a perfect library fundraiser production! I can see the audience being encouraged to dress up as their favorite literary characters and really getting in to this funny and intense play! It would be a blast to execute (pun intended) as well! Through all of the antics, the message is clear, there should be room for all kinds of stories in the library! Middle school students would have a blast watching and performing this, especially!

I was wondering when the title would come into play and I wasn't disappointed! The absolute earnestness and urgency of this moment they share is palpable. But the beauty is, no matter how dark their moment is, they are together and that is reason to celebrate. Truly an unconventional Christmas play, but ultimately highlights what the holiday is about, relatable to today.

Great history lesson as well as a fun scene for actors to tackle. Especially if they might know a few magic tricks to add to the piece! And Amber will likely show them all up eventually! Which is highly satisfying!

Ah, when theatre, even edgy theatre, becomes dead eyed and repetitive. It is quite an interesting thought to choose EQUUS as your alternative to A CHRISTMAS CAROL, however, we see from this insider's perspective it might be a little selfish and creepy in its execution. As a lot of theatre can be in the wrong hands! Poor Sandy. Sandy is a true witness without power in this artistic seasonal vortex.
