  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Unexpected Delight of Snowbirds

Claire’s rage at Brian is hilariously creative. I love Brian’s clumsy attempt at being sweet and sentimental. These two are wonderful characters and their love and connection is clear, even as Claire seethes. What a wonderfully fun way to soften the blow of tragedy.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Speeding Ticket

A typical traffic stop becomes surreal when the officer pulling you over is on ice skates and you were just trying to have fun skating with a friend! A winter postcard moment, ruined by a power hungry officer determined to write a ticket. Weird and funny!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: We Three Kings (and One Good-for-Nothing Son)

Beautiful advice from Cyrus. A Christmas miracle that brings a father and son together in mutual respect. A very lovely family holiday play.

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Nativity Scene

This is a great piece for younger actors. It has magic realism with the spirit of the holiday season. And it doesn't talk down to the pressure of wanting to be popular by wrapping everything up in a perfect gift at the end. It's a real ending, leaving the audience with the sense that Hannah did something good for her future, but what could possibly happen next. Great fodder for a talk back on the subject!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Adventures of Pat the Exterminator: Switch

Pat! I love that Pat is good at doling out the advice in this one. Not every creature is irredeemable! Any audience would be grateful to sit through an evening of Pat stories. I know I would!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: Plated With Gold (Ten Minute)

You learn so much about the history of this law firm in this short ten minute piece. We also learn that Nancy is really taking a huge step, not just toward the betterment of her own soul, but perhaps the betterment of society. People in powerful positions take advantage of things only as long as those "below" them allow them to. Nancy is starting the ball rolling to end the comfort of the elite today, and it all begins with a pant suit!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: I Don't DO Holidays

This is so relatable...until it is scary! The holiday story only Prillaman can bring. The dialogue is wonderfully crafted and hilarious in its awkward context!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: KRAMPUS MY STYLE - a monologue

Poor Krampus! I love that Krampus has feelings. I mean, who wouldn't if it felt like their job might be obsolete. Delightful ending!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: The Mrs. Claus Experiment

Jello?! Okay’ I’m on board! This play is fun and naughty, which puts it right on the nice list!

  • Jacquelyn Floyd-Priskorn: FALLING IN TIME

I love this play. So smart, yet it had me crying at the end. Science and the love of a pet come together and send you as the audience on a free fall right to the very end. So beautifully real and magical at the same time.
