  • DOUBLE TROUBLE, a 5-minute comedy
    17 Jun. 2022
This little slice-of-life play captures the sense of angst and fear all humans must grapple with when they are thrust back onto Earth School. Is this fantasy or truth disguised as fantasy? That is the question everyone watching this play will ask themselves. I love the witty dialogue and the characters. The best part of this play is the versatility it allows for in casting, and how the play would change with those casting differences. Since it is a short play, watching it with several different casts in one sitting, would be a hoot!
  • BLAME IT ON BARBIE, a four-minute comedy for two women
    17 Jun. 2022
A great, four-minute play about that transformational moment in a creative young woman’s life when she announces to the world, OK, to her mother, that she isn’t going to take the safe path in choosing her career, but rather, she will follow her bliss, wherever that leads. A poignant, play about a mother/daughter bond that is heartwarming to witness. You aced this, Arianna!
  • Mind Control (ZOOM/LGBTQ VERSION)
    17 Jun. 2022
A fascinating play about the power of suggestion and the power of the mind. A great play for three women. One of the characters is a kind of hypnotist, who appears to have the uncanny ability to make anyone believe anything. Sensuous, seductive, and captivating, this play is perfect for Zoom. I am sure this ten-minute play would leave the audience mesmerized. Brava!
  • The Deal - 10 Minute Play
    17 Jun. 2022
“The Deal” has some of the most riveting dialogue that you will ever encounter. A great two-person, one-act play with lots of suspense throughout that continues right up to the surprise ending. The play has a third character, who is dead, but his being hovers like a ghost over the entire play. Bravo!
  • The Insemination Game
    16 Jun. 2022
A funny, ridiculous look at how hard people try to make a baby, which shouldn’t be rocket science, but somehow this couple has made it seem like you need to go to crazy extremes to concieve. The dialogue is witty, the plot is fast paced, and the characters are likable and believable. This would be a great play to see staged, and I would love to watch the audience’s reaction to this play, which tackles a timely issue.
  • You Think You Know

A well-written, short one-act play with a twist. A comic look at the way 30-somethings view the older generations. The dialogue is fast-paced and witty, the characters are compelling, and the plot in fun, well-crafted and keeps you in suspense right up to the surprise ending. Brava!
  • The B Is For Bullsh!t
    14 May. 2022
John Mabey is one of my favorite playwrights. This full-length play is timely, thought-provoking, and very funny. The characters are multi-dimensional, likable, and nuanced. The dialogue is well-crafted and fast-paced. I would love to see this staged! B is for Bravo!
  • Near Nellie Bly
    1 May. 2022
This historical drama set in 1887 in a New York women’s insane asylum is a harrowing account of how easy it was back then for a woman to be misdiagnosed as mentally ill and then institionalized. Nellie Bly, a bold and courageous reporter, sees firsthand the cruel, inhumane, and barbaric treatment women were receiving in an institution on Blackwell Island. There are many fascinating parts for women to portray. This docudrama would be riveting to see staged. Bravo!
  • Uncomplicated Bereavement
    30 Apr. 2022

  • Love's Disenlightenment
    18 Jan. 2022
At first, this play seems pretty simple and straightforward, but as the plot unravels, the audience finds themselves smack in the middle of the complex world of theatre, relationships, and the very nature of love. Highly theatrical and well-crafted, I would love to see this staged.
