  • The Cardinal

A miracle, according to “Oxford’s English Dictionary,” is “A highly improbable or extraordinary event that brings very welcome consequences.” According to “A Course in Miracles,” a miracle is a correction in perception, and the awareness of love’s presence. This beautifully written one-act miracle play reveals a shift in perception and an outpouring of love that occurred between a mother and her gay son when a Hermaphrodite bird makes a rare appearance. This synchronistic occurrence opened up a long overdue dialogue between this mother and son that may have even been inspired by a deceased loved one. Bravo!
  • The Fight for Purity, A Radio Play
    15 Nov. 2021
This would be a fun radio play to listen to while you are driving. It would certainly keep your mind off the traffic! And besides, who doesn’t love an old-fashioned spaghetti western with a good showdown? The interaction between the characters is a riot. Great dialogue and a laugh a minute. Bravo!
  • The Early Flight
    20 Oct. 2021
A husband, feeling guilty about his “fiscal infidelity” (gambling ) accuses his wife of cheating? Is she or isn’t she. That depends upon the choice of endings. Creative and compelling, I loved it!
  • The Brief Lifespan of a Butterfly (Monologue)
    20 Oct. 2021
A very relatable monologue. How often have all of us felt like we were talking to ourselves when we were actually trying to have a dialogue with our significant other? A great piece to use for an audition with the wide-range of emotions expressed throughout this memorable short piece. I would love to see this staged and watch the audience squirm with recognition as they witness this well-written monologue.
  • Ghosts at a Narcan Training
    20 Oct. 2021
Timely and thought provoking, tackling some heavy topics, such as ghosting and overdosing, this short play packs a powerful punch that 20-somethings can really relate to. Crisp dialogue with plenty of rich subtexts, this play is well-crafted and stage-worthy!
  • I THINK IT'S A WHALE
    20 Oct. 2021
I believe this is a whale of a tale! This ten-minute play would be a fun one to act in or to watch. Writers always wonder how their books are being received and if they are challenging the reader to think outside the box, so I loved the way the writer walks in and gets to witness the havoc his book has wrought. Bravo!
  • Heaven's a Motel
    19 Oct. 2021
I love the title, ”Heaven’s a Motel,” and a seedy one at that! Dark, funny, troubling at times, this short one-act play is a great vehicle for actors to showcase their skills. Masterfully crafted and well-paced, I would love to see this staged.
  • TESTIMONIAL (10 minute one act)
    16 Oct. 2021
A moving, lyrical, beautiful short play about an aging professor, who is losing his mind, but
he can take comfort in knowing that his wisdom will live on in the minds and hearts of his students forevermore. A great generational play, stage-worthy, and well worth the read.
  • We're a Couple
    8 Sep. 2021
A 21st-century dilemma: what are we a couple, a throuple, a situationship? This play tackles that question in a funny, thought-provoking way. I am sure this would be the most talked about play in any theatre festival! I would love to see it staged.
  • "I love parties"

Women-of-a-certain age often feel invisible, but not Auntie Patty. Auntie Patty proves she’s still got it, but she has acquired something more important in her journey on Earth School: wisdom. A funny, spot-on monologue about love, life, death, and taking risks. Brava!
