  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: You Think You Know

A well-written, short one-act play with a twist. A comic look at the way 30-somethings view the older generations. The dialogue is fast-paced and witty, the characters are compelling, and the plot in fun, well-crafted and keeps you in suspense right up to the surprise ending. Brava!

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: Near Nellie Bly

This historical drama set in 1887 in a New York women’s insane asylum is a harrowing account of how easy it was back then for a woman to be misdiagnosed as mentally ill and then institionalized. Nellie Bly, a bold and courageous reporter, sees firsthand the cruel, inhumane, and barbaric treatment women were receiving in an institution on Blackwell Island. There are many fascinating parts for women to portray. This docudrama would be riveting to see staged. Bravo!

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: Love's Disenlightenment

At first, this play seems pretty simple and straightforward, but as the plot unravels, the audience finds themselves smack in the middle of the complex world of theatre, relationships, and the very nature of love. Highly theatrical and well-crafted, I would love to see this staged.

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: The Golden Rule

A short play that packs a strong punch. Dan Taube tackles a timeless topic that we've all experienced all too often in the workplace: bullies who like to make hardworking, good people's lives hell. Throw in some white privilege and a woman disempowering another woman, and you have the makings of a great play. The dialogue is biting, and the ending will leave the audience feeling like justice will be done. Bravo!

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: Interview With The Playwright

Any writer who has interviewed a celebrity of any sorts knows that the whole experience can be an over-the-top stressful and scary one. I love the way the journalist, Micah, walks on eggshells around an immortal playwright known as Clara. Set on Halloween, you know that there has to be some supernatural things going on, and they just add to the drama and suspense in this well-crafted, 10-minute play.

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: Chasing the Train

A young woman’s self-esteem takes a beating, and everyone she turns to for guidance or help seems to fail her. She becomes obsessed about her weight, as so many women often do, and her whole life starts falling apart. A riveting short play that is thought-provoking and timely. I would love to see this staged.

  • Cindi Sansone-Braff: The Bag Under the Bed

A hilarious look at marriage, sex, love, and intimacy. Great dialogue, believable characters, and a fun plot make this short play a memorable one. A great vehicle for two actors to show off their physical comedy skills.
