  • Jack Levine: You Got it Right!

JOHN PATRICK BRAY’s play, “You Got It Right”, takes us on the Twilight-Zone like ride in a car at night on a deserted highway. A hitchhiker is seen, and seen again and again. You can’t help but wonder if it’s the hitchhiker or the two people in the car who will suffer a tragedy. I found this play to my liking. Spooky, yet satisfying. I highly recommend this wonderful play.

  • Jack Levine: WHO'S AFRAID OF THE BIG BAD SUPPORT GROUP?

BRENT ALLES has written a witty, weird, and wild Fairy Take Parody of wolves taking part in a therapy group. His play, “Who’s Afraid Of The Big Bad Support Group!”, is very enjoyable. I laughed out loud at all the twists, turns, and turmoil. We all know about the Big Bad Wolfs…or maybe we really don’t. BRAVO, Brent! This play would be a hit with audiences. I would love to see it performed.

  • Jack Levine: MOVE IT OR LOSE IT

A fun ride and a surprise ending makes for a worthwhile short play to read. You will enjoy JULIE BRANDON’s new work, “Move It Or Loss It”.

  • Jack Levine: Home-Style Cooking at the Gateway Cafe

PHILIP MIDDLETON WILLIAMS is a fantastic playwright. His full-length play, “Home-Style Cooking At The Gateway Cafe”, is a play of prejudice. The Governor of the State visits Gateway Cafe, only to be challenged for what he says are his beliefs. From the small town patrons of this local establishment, the Governor speaks his mind, only it happens to be changing directions as fast as the wind. I enjoyed this play and recommend it be read and produced.

  • Jack Levine: Calvaria: A Play for Feral Girls

MAGGIE SMITH’s full-length play, “Calvaria: A Play For Feral Girls”, is a fascinating story of a group of young girls, who are trying to make the world better. I found myself totally engrossed throughout and strongly believe an audience will also be totally engaged. There are so many levels to this play. There are strong and penetrating personalities, which will be a wonderful challenge and opportunity for female actors. Nobody will leave the theater without being emotionally impacted.

  • Jack Levine: A Second Chance to Say Goodbye

JOHN BUSSER’s play, “A Second Chance To Say Goodbye”, had an impact on me. I have witnessed and emotionally dealt with close family and friends with dementia. It’s hard when the person you love so much doesn’t recognize you. Nevertheless, you need to tell them - even if they don’t understand and certainly won’t remember - what they meant to you, how much you love them, and whatever else you want to say to them. This is a beautiful ten-minute play. Bravo, John.

  • Jack Levine: Annabel Lee

“Annabel Lee” by JAMES PERRY should be read and produced. It is a wonderful short piece that brings to life a poem by Edgar Allan Poe. It is a short but beautiful. I highly recommend it.
