  • Jack Levine: Cranberry

GEORGE SAPIO’s “Cranberry”, had my attention from beginning to end. You will enjoy reading this play!

  • Jack Levine: Baba Mikey

Christopher Plumridge’s monologue, “Baba Mikey”, evokes a number of emotions, as you are engrossed in the love spoken by a father of a baby and devoted husband to his lovely wife. The twist is one that only adds to the power of this piece.

  • Jack Levine: UNVERIFIED

This is a fun short piece! I am not much of a computer-wiz, but I do see some of the things people write and others forward. The whole social media ‘thing’ is fascinating, frustrating, and frightening at times, to a seventy-something year old guy, like me. Always a joy to read Adam Richter’s work!

  • Jack Levine: The Sentinel (a monologue)

This piece had an emotional impact on me, as it painfully reminded me of when I held the hand of my dying loved one. You hope for a recovery, which will not come. You pray there will be no more pain, but it only gets worse - until so much medicine puts your loved one in a daze or sleeping. Nicely done.

  • Jack Levine: Thou Shall Not Liest (a monologue)

I recommend “Thou Shall Not Liest (A Monologue)”. There is much to think about in this piece. Should one be faithful to their truth or not? What is the price one is willing to pay to do what they love. Is there shame in being yourself? I think this piece nicely gives us food for thought.

  • Jack Levine: Experiential Education

I love to read and watch comedy. This play is fun and will have an audience in an uproar. “Experimental Education” by Jared Reynolds was produced by Nelson Hall Productions in the CT Playwrights Showcase at Elim Park in Cheshire, CT. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: MAKING MYTH

I found this play to be very interesting and enjoyable. Charles Scott Jones does indeed creates a thought provoking piece, which is witty. Good job!

  • Jack Levine: Abstract Parents

ABSTRACT PARENTS is a wonderfully written play, which reminds us that parenting, a biological or adopted child, can be challenging, wonderful, scary, heartwarming, but most of all, a blessing. Emma Goldman-Sherman has created a beautiful play, which I would love to see performed.
