  • Jack Levine: NIGHT OF A THOUSAND SIPS

CHARLES SCOTT JONES creates a powerful monologue of one night of the hard fight of a recovering alcoholic to stay sober and refrain from that ‘just one sip’. “Night Of A Thousand Sips” is a gem.

  • Jack Levine: Old Fat & Bald

IRWIN HAHN has written a beautiful, witty play in which you will find yourself laughing out loud and remembering with trepidation and love the world we live with aging parents. “OLD FAT AND BALD” is a must-see play and should be a wonderful addition to any festival. I love IRWIN HAHN’s plays, and you will, too!

  • Jack Levine: 1st Shot (one-minute play)

You don’t expect many words to be used in a one-minute play. But, MATTHEW WEAVER uses NO words, yet his piece gave me a hearty laugh. This piece is so true of our shared humanity of how most people think about their first COVID shot.

  • Jack Levine: Waiting

This is truly a heartwarming play, and one you will love to read and watch. Hailey is a great character, as she ‘plays’ parent to her dad and his girlfriend. I love when the teenager character is shown in a good light. Halley may talk too fast, but she has more maturity and wisdom than one might expect from a seventeen year old.

  • Jack Levine: A DINNER BELL RINGS (a 10 minute play)

Oh, my, this play really resonated with me. It’s so true about the way fine chinaware has been looked upon, used or not, by different generations. I really enjoyed reading this marvelous piece, which brought back some great memories of my grandmother, mother, wife, and three daughters. Great work!

  • Jack Levine: Stage Fights Screen

“STAGE FIGHTS SCEEN” is a tug-of-war, so it seems, between a playwright and screen star. There is an issue of possible plagiarism, but we find out what the truth is in a wonderful surprise ending. I highly recommend this gem by REX MCGREGOR.

  • Jack Levine: ANTAGONISM, OR, SOME PEOPLE LIKE TO P*SS IN THE POOL [A 1-MINUTE PLAY]

I love STEVEN G. MARTIN’s plays. He has the talent to always engage the reader and say something meaningful in the most endearing way. This 1-Minute gem can be easily relatable to any situation in which a group of people are having fun and someone has the need to be the killjoy.

  • Jack Levine: The Continuity Girl

My love of all things theater gave me a thrill to read this wonderful gem. “The Continuity Girl” is a position I never heard of, but the importance of this job is enormous. I love the history; I love the rush of long hours of hard work; I love the sense of accomplishment; I love the breathtaking magic of the theater and movies. I strongly encourage the production of this play!

  • Jack Levine: Chickens! - Part of the "United Plays of America" Anthology (Delaware)

I love comedic plays, and this gem is a fun piece. I can imagine this being performed on stage and the audience laughing out loud. CLAUDIA HASS has tickled my funny bone!

  • Jack Levine: Hibernation

SCOTT SICKLES is one of my favorite playwrights. In this gem, Max is dealing with the sad memories of his failed marriage, and his best friend Gunnar and Ingrid, a school teacher, with her own interests, try to bring Max out of his depression and energized to move forward in his life. “Hibernation” is a sweet play with a touch of romance and a good helping of friendship.
