  • Jack Levine: Sorry I'm Late

I am truly blown away with this absolutely awesome monologue! “Sorry I’m Late” gives the actor plenty to work with, and the audience will roar with laughter, as it is performed. This is a fun monologue with quirks, twists, and surprises. Great job!

  • Jack Levine: PAGE COUNT

KERR LOCKHART has written wonderful plays, and “Page Count” is another gem. Two writers, one young and the other older, have their own demons to deal with, and yet, they find their commonalities in order to collaborate. I was moved by this play and found the interplay between the two characters to be engrossing. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: For The Public Good

ALICE JOSEPHS’ “PUBLIC GOOD” is a fascinating play. I was totally engrossed from the beginning to the end. The issue of incarceration for a bad reason, despite the false narrative it is “For The Public Good’, is an important topic. Unfortunately, we saw this happen in America when Americans of Japanese decent, were incarcerated. There are so many social issues raised by this wonderful play. I would love to watch a performance and then have a ‘talkback’ afterwards with the playwright and actors. I highly recommend this play!

  • Jack Levine: BONUS POINT [A 1-MINUTE PLAY]

There is always a brilliance in any of STEVEN G. MARTIN’s writings. In “Bonus Point (a 1-minute play), we are at once thrust into the type of educational experience we all want to see: Students with inquiring minds being encouraged by their teacher. This short, but very worthwhile piece, considers the unthinkable, as we find out in the last line. Bravo, once again, to one of my favorite playwrights!

  • Jack Levine: Yankee Stadium, June 1960

My father took me to the ‘old’ Yankee Stadium when Mickey Mantle, Yogi Berra, and the other Yankee Greats played. it was a memorial experience. So, i enjoyed reading this play by IRWIN HAHN, for the memories it brought to my mind. But the play itself is a gem. It’s hilarious. It’s sentimental. It’s ‘spot-on’. I highly recommend this play and all of IRWIN HAHN’s plays!

  • Jack Levine: God On Our Side

I really enjoyed reading this play. From the start, I was totally engrossed in the ‘behind-the-scene’ drama between two football quarterbacks, one with a lot of talent and no belief in God, and the other with mediocre talents and a strong belief in God. TOM MORAN’s play, “God On Our Side”, is captivating. I strongly recommend this play!

  • Jack Levine: ALL THAT PEZ, a 5-minute LGBTQ+ comedy

I love romance in plays, and “All That Pez, A 5-Minute LGBTQ+ Comedy” fits the bill. A nicely done piece with humor, pathos, love, devotion, and a beautiful ending. Good job! Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: Daddy's Safe

CHRISTOPHER PLUMRIDGE can write engaging, witty pieces, in such a short time. I am in awe of his talent to produce fun plays. “DADDIES PLAY” is one of his many gems.

  • Jack Levine: Etched in Stone

I was so touched by this extraordinary wonderful play. It brought out the strong feelings and memories we have for those who have departed in an unexpected and beautiful way. “Etched In Stone” had me engrossed from beginning to end. This is a play well-worth reading and producing.

  • Jack Levine: Loved

Oh, what a well-written, powerful play of three monologues! JOHN MABEY’s piece is a must-read, which definitely needs to be produced. It will have audiences totally engrossed and talking about it after they leave the theater. I highly recommend “Loved”. Bravo!
