  • Jack Levine: Face Time

DONNA HOKE’s play, “Face Time”, is such a witty, ‘right-on’ characterization of how many of us stay in touch with friends and family with online apps. It’s sad when our communications are so impersonal, even to the point of relating important events online as well as ‘just letting you know’ you saw something, you visited somewhere, you did something, you thought something - oh, you get the picture. I highly recommend this fun play!

  • Jack Levine: Survival Strategy

This is such a sweet play by DONNA HOKE. We all need a “Survival Strategy” (title) to make our lives fulfilling. Audiences will really enjoy watching this performed.

  • Jack Levine: Mr Bennet's Bride

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this play. It is interesting, well-written, and true to what one can imagine as the true prequel to Jane Austin’s “Pride and Prejudice”. There is so much to love about this play. I most especially loved the arc of the relationship between father and son, with the most endearing confession and unexpected emotion of Mr. Bennett as he discloses his thoughts and feelings to his son about the time of his son’s birth and wife’s death. This is a marvelous play! Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: BOX OF TEETH

What a nice, sweet short play! Suicide is such a deeply felt tragedy, and there is always the question of ‘what could I have done?’ to prevent it. Tim is wise beyond his years, and he is a memorable character. Leigh’s pain and sadness are understandable, and playwright TORI RICE does a masterful job in portraying it. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: Babies React To...

This short play is a reminder that a ‘small thing’ can become a big deal on social media. DC CATHRO uses his playwriting talents to show us how insidious a post of a video on the internet, just because it may seem ‘cute’ to someone, can be harmful to the one who is in the video. “Babies React To...” also shows that babies don’t necessarily like a change, such as a father shaving his beard. Good message, well done.

  • Jack Levine: Crass Reunion

Oh, my, “Crass Reunion” is a riot. You will laugh out loud and wish you were watching it produced on stage. This play has some great comedic roles, and the audience will love it. Crazy times; good times; memorable times.

  • Jack Levine: Scandals and Scones

This is a delightful little play with the kind of banter you love to hear to make for an amusing, fun evening of theatre. “Scandals and Scones” is witty and will put a smile on your face. RACHEL FEENY-WILLIAMS knows how to write entertaining plays, and this is just another one of her gems.

  • Jack Levine: Body And Soul

This short play will have your head spinning from all the twists and turns. I love the way you think it’s headed in one direction, when suddenly you are moving in the opposite direction. ALICE JOSEPHS never disappoints with her marvelous works, and “Body and Soul” is no exception. You will love this gem!

  • Jack Levine: CHARADES

This very short piece is marvelous! I love the use of a game to tell a devastatingly message. VIVIAN LERMOND proves it doesn’t take a lot of words to say a great deal. “Charades” is wonderful.

  • Jack Levine: Final Dispatch - A Monologue

There is a powerful message in this gem by ROBERT WEIBEZAHL. As parents, we try to encourage our children to make the ‘right’ choices. As the son or daughter, we grow up believing we know it all, or at least we should make our own decisions. We don’t always understand why our viewpoints are not seen as being ‘right’, as the parent or as the child. “Final Dispatch - A Monologue” is a poignant piece. I highly recommend it be read and produced.
