  • Jack Levine: It's an honour Mr Shakespeare

This is a fun play with an interesting concept of putting David Tennant and the REAL William Shakespeare together for a podcast. “It’s An Honour Mr Shakespeare” is a quick-paced, witty play by RACHAEL FEENY-WILLIAMS.

  • Jack Levine: I Hate My Afterlife

You will really enjoy reading, and someday hopeful watching, DANA HALL’s heartwarming and funny “I Hate My Afterlife”. There’s a worthy message in this gem, which we all should heed.

  • Jack Levine: Sons of Liberty

I am a bit of a history buff and especially love reading and learning about the American Revolution. I am also very interested, as well as appalled, by the current political divisiveness in our country. We sometimes forget, or never realize, there have been political tensions and arguments since our country was founded. To see the coming together of two strongly held different viewpoints, as depicted by the two wonderfully developed characters, was inspirational. I found PAUL E. FALLON’s “Sons of Liberty” to be enlightening and powerful. This full-length play is awesome! Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: Car Games

I was fully engaged in this play from the beginning, as DC CATHRO used his playwriting talents to take us on a long car trip without knowing the purpose and then ended the trip with a twist. “Games” is a play which is a must-read and needs to be produced!

  • Jack Levine: Miss R.R.Hood Versus The Wolf.

This is a fun play with a lot of laughs and twists. CHRISTOPHER PLUMRIDGE takes a well-know fairy tale and adds his wit to make this piece simply delightful. “Miss R.R.Hood Versus The Wolf” will have audiences laughing out loud.

  • Jack Levine: The Prism

I read Stage Directions for a reading of “The Prism” by Friedman at Play Readings With Friends. I found this play to be so real. Parents teach their children by their words but more importantly by their actions. Culture and economic class play a big role in the attitudes of aging parents and their children. When one child carries the burden of taking care of their aged parents, the other children often do not help. It’s a sad but true. This is a well-written play.

  • Jack Levine: These Eyes (a monologue)

SCOTT SICKLES’s “These Eyes (a monologue)” captures the journey of a person, who has experienced a multitude of unfair prejudices. But this piece is not just about the hurt from parents, peers, and others from their unfair feelings about ethnicity, body weight, and sexual preference. It is about recognizing that the key is accepting your heritage and the person you are, rejoicing in it, and rejecting the moronic views of those who put you down for no good reason. This monologue is a must-read! I hope to see this performed on Zoom or onstage. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: RANDY: A BODYGUARD / BODYBUILDER MONOLOGUE

I found “A Bodyguard / Bodybuilder Monologue” to be fascinating, because it had a strong message to tell in a very clever way. ASHER WYNDHAM hits the mark in revealing the true pain of Randy, a bodyguard for a Texas state representative. I look forward to watching this piece performed, either on Zoom or onstage,

  • Jack Levine: DoorDashed

There was so much to dislike about the pandemic: People getting sick and many dying; social distancing and wearing masks; loneliness and frustration; fear and anxiety. We will all remember it. “DoorDashed” by EMILY MCCLAIN is a play about dealing with COVID-19. The ending is sweet.

  • Jack Levine: Cinnamon

I once worked in a place where it was our job to work fast and efficiently, smile and be courteous, and above all, treat the customer as a deity. All of this was right and proper until that occasional self absorbed customer-from-Hell entered and demanded the world on a platter, so to speak. I laughed out loud while reading this. I highly recommend “Cinnamon” by Toby Malone!
