  • Jack Levine: The Boys Across the Street: A Monologue

DONALD E. BAKER’s one-page monologue, “The Boys Across the Street”, is well-written, powerful, and deserving to be a featured piece in a Festival. Prejudice is ugly and needs to be called out.

  • Jack Levine: The Condemned, a Monologue

FRANCIS BOYLE’s monologue, “The Condemned”, is powerful not only for what it says about the condemned but also our society. We may wish someone dead. We may openly talk about our hope this person is killed. But, our society will not, should not, condone murder.

  • Jack Levine: 7th Floor Nurse's Station

MATTHEW WEAVER takes head on the difficulties of a single mother, who has her plate full of taking care of her children without any help from her ex. To add to her stress, Jessie Hardy has to deal with a dangerous patient and the people who want him dead. “7th Floor Nurse’s Station” is a wonderful opportunity for a female actor to play a strong role.

  • Jack Levine: DAVENPORT'S DEMISE (A RADIO PLAY)

VIVIAN LERMOND’s play, “Davenport’s Demise (from the MAD FOR MYSTERY Collection), is a fast-pace murder mystery with a sense of humor. I love the dialogue and the imagery created by the playwright. Vivian Lermond is a fantastic writer and you will thoroughly enjoy reading her many wonderful plays.

  • Jack Levine: My (Virtually) Perfect Roommate

NICKY LOWNEY’s play, “My (Virtually) Perfect Room”, is a funny play in which Amanda is “just” trying to find a decent apartment with a compatible roommate. It seems like a simple task, which she can do “virtually”. You will laugh out loud as each potential roommate comes online and reveals what it would be like to share space with them. Actors will enjoy performing the dialogue, and audiences will enjoy the witty play.

  • Jack Levine: The Shower

    J. LOIS DIAMOND’s short play is a wonderful piece of interaction between a mother and daughter. I can totally relate, as I am the father of three daughters. “The Shower” is witty and so true to life.

  • Jack Levine: Your Gaze (a monologue)

SCOTT SICKLES brings his tremendous talents to bear in a powerful, intimate, and thought provoking two-minute monologue. “Your Gaze” touched me with its realism, as it made me think about how a similar experience has impacted me. Love is not always easily expressed, but it can be even more difficult for a person with ADHD.

  • Jack Levine: Father of the Dead

JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN’s fantastic monologue, “Father of the Dead”, is witty and is a must-read, must-perform, must-watch, grab-and-hold-your-attention, oh-my, piece! I highly recommend you read this superb piece! You will thoroughly enjoy it!

  • Jack Levine: Til Dummy Do Us Part

ROBIN BERL’s short play is truly an endearing romantic comedy. “Til Dummy Do Us Part” is an absolutely fun play for the actors to perform and the audience to watch. I loved the humor, the strong bond you’ll feel toward the two characters, and the wonderful ending.

  • Jack Levine: A FACE ON THE PIG (a 10 minute play)

MARJ O’NEILL-BUTLER’s short play is delightful. It’s so satisfying to have a friend, who is always ready to help. You can really appreciate the energy and determination of Sophie, who successfully works to bring Rosalie out of her depression. And, you cannot help but cheer out loud when justice is about to take place. Rosalie is like many other young women, who give their heart to a scoundrel. “A Face Of A Pig” gets “two thumbs up”, a loud “Bravo!”, and a raised hand to say, “Pick this marvelous piece for your Festival”. It is a winner!
