  • Jack Levine: One Last Stroke

Oh, my, this monologue really touched my heart! It reminded me of the one whom I lost many years ago and still miss very much. CHRISTOPHER PLUMRIDGE, I am so grateful to you for putting into words such beautiful, heartwarming, strong feelings, which we all can and do feel about a soulmate when they leave us. “One Last Stroke” is a must-read.

  • Jack Levine: Isobel

CHRISTOPHER PLUMRIDGE’s monologue of a boy, who knows he is bigger and stronger than all the other boys but is naive to many things, is touching and insightful. Olly has a heart of gold but lacks any sort of sophistication. “Isabel”, the title of this monologue, is such a powerful piece. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: When the Wheels Came Off the Meal

MIKE SOLOMONSON’s 10-minute play, “When The Wheels Came Off The Meal”, is so endearing. Two women seem at first to have very little in common, yet they find a connection and all the good things that can come from it. I throughly enjoyed reading this piece and think it would be fabulous to watch performed. I love the premise of this piece, and the characters are wonderful. Bravo!

  • Jack Levine: Fridge

JENNIFER O’GRADY writes a most heartwarming ten-minute play. There is so much to love about this piece. The dialogue is witty. The ‘call-out’ on repairmen is hilarious. The ‘bond’ between a woman and her fridge is thought provoking. The ending is downright wonderful. “Fridge” will delight any audience, any time!

  • Jack Levine: Public Comment

ADAM RICHTER has captured the essence of white privilege, disregard by some of the homeless, and a general “Me First, Last, and Always” attitude of some ‘haves’ in a marvelous one-minute play. “Public Comment” is an unsettling statement of a lack of empathy of some toward the needy. Good job, Adam!

  • Jack Levine: We Are Cranston

LISA DELLAGIARINO FERIEND’s ten-minute play packs a punch. A high school football coach ‘needs’ a big win to redeem his self-esteem and ‘prove’ his worth. “We Are Cranston” shows that teenagers can and do have empathy, values, and common sense, notwithstanding how much The Big Games might mean to them personally. I love that young men are portrayed in such a redeeming way.

  • Jack Levine: Boogie Man

DANA HALL’s imagination and excellent playwriting skills brings us on a spooky journey in her short piece. “Boogie Man” is a sure bet to be a hit on Halloween, or anytime you want to have a little horror in your theater experience.

  • Jack Levine: Delete

JACQUELYN FLOYD-PRISKORN’s short piece is a marvelously witty (and so true for a computer incompetent person like me) computer disaster tale in which all the data is deleted. Oh, my, there is so much fun in this. I highly recommend “Delete”!

  • Jack Levine: The High Ground

JACKIE MARTIN tackles the terrible tragedy of addiction in her short play, “The High Ground”. So many families have been, are now, and will be adversely affected by the drug addiction of a loved one. The relationships between, and among, parent and child, siblings, and husband and wife, are powerful. You will find this short play to be riveting and meaningful.

  • Jack Levine: Of Night and Dark Obscurity

SCOTT SICKLES’ ten-minute horror piece is truly marvelous and will keep the audience riveted from beginning to end. This would be two great roles to play. “Night And Obscurity” brings an interesting twist to how one might deal with emotional abuse. I highly recommend this!
