  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Just Say it Three Times

Bloody Mary, Beetlejuice, Candy Man and Now Aphra Behn! You are brought into one fateful night when two drunk girls, who are not enjoying their lot in life, bring forth Aphra Behn, and boy does she have a lot to educate them on! This piece provides a wonderful shapshot regarding the world of female playwrights, not to mention offers a wonderful lesson of 'if you're unhappy with your life, then change it!' I won't say what the changes are but you should read this and find out for yourself because, like the rest of the play, its brilliantly done!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Jab

Oooooo! Erin you drew me in like a fish on a hook and then launched that ending at me with amazing precision! That was my gut reaction when I got to the end of this fabulous tension loaded play. Its just fabulous how Erin has you thinking so many different things about Nyla and Sam. The play twists and turns with wonderful precision and provides you with moments of dark humour that you can't help but smile at (as bad as that may sound). Just fabulously done!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: IT'S MY PARTY

Its a truth generally acknowledged that parents believe they know what's best for their children. In this case, the way Kitty opens the mother's eyes to what her son is really going through is a powerfully emotional scene that is very well done. Both parents are portrayed in a very real way that makes you believe they want what's best, in their way, which leads to the escalating tension and argument for a perfectly timed moment that no parent ever wants to face, acknowledging that maybe they don't know best. It offers a great chance for powerful performances!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Inhale and Exhale

We all go through horrible times in our lives and its easy to just sit and dwell in the miserable place that cheating arsehole boyfriends can cause, but sometimes we need a bit of extra help to lift us away from that place. That's the beautiful and heartwarming moment Amy has created here. Intertwined with moments of dry humour and raw emotion you get that wonderful moment of human connection. Angel Dan really wants to help Jackie but the question is, is Jackie ready to help herself? My advice to you, read it to find out!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: IRL

The world of Social Media has changed so much about how we interact with people and how we deal with people who don't share the same opinions as us. It's easy to just press a button and cut a person out of your 'internet life' but what happens when that decision comes back to haunt you, face to face? That's the wonderfully interesting scenario John has put Melanie and Jennifer in as they debate their social media behaviour and how it has affected their friendship. It's a fabulous short play that offers insight and great moments of humour!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: It's Really Very Simple

It would be very easy to get offended by the title of Jack's play because, as any playwright will tell you, the act of writing a play is NOT simple at all! However, it would be impossible to stay mad as you observe the very familiar sight of a writer suffering with writer's block and doing all they can to try and overcome it. Its a wonderfully insightful and funny glimpse into the creative process! Its brilliantly creative and offers the audience a snapshot into the world of what it's like to write.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: I Don't Care

Honestly, as someone who has worked in customer support for many years and dealt with customers who are being heinous for reasons a lot less important than those here, I fully get Mary-Beth's desire to say 'I don't care' because sometimes, in the depths of frustration, we don't! That's the amazingly high-tension situation that Joe has presented and done such an amazing job of making you as the audience feel just as frustrated as the customer or maybe, like me you do relate to the employee. Either way, there is an audience out there who can't relate, utterly fabulous!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: How to Swindle a Nun, Extort a Museum and Save a Masterpiece from Oblivion [20-Minutes]

This wonderful example of humourous and witty chaos offers exactly what the title says it will, and so much more! Its a brilliant journey that twists and turns in an expert fashion and keeps the audience hooked from the word go. Put simply, its a play that takes you on a fabulous journey and offers a fabulous chance for performers and audiences to be a part of something special!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Hearts of Brothers' Temper

I always love a play that educates and brings the stories of history to life, mainly because it gives the piece a new dimension of 'realism'. Not that I needed any help with that here at all! The wonderful dialogue between threse three brothers as they struggle to work together creatively travells along at a brilliant pace, drawing the audience in and wanting to see how these moments affected history before wrapping it up and answering those all important questions, wonderfully done!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: How About Them Dodgers

So, when I saw the title was 'oh no, a sports play. I know NOTHING about sports' but then...I was amply rewarded (and then some) with an amazing commentry on a society that has allowed the banning of certain books, plays and other entertianment to run rampant. Its a very poignant story given how things are at the moment and is a play that is sure to inspire debate and make people sit up and listen to how dangerous 'banning' can be. As is often the case, Philip Middleton Williams has provided a piece of stage power!
