  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Brady Girls

I alwys loved watching older TV shows and thinking 'seriously, who lives like this' or 'how on earth did they end up living together'. That's the scenario that Deb has explored in a wonderfully funny way but at the same time giving a perspective on what mother/daughter relationships should be, one of honesty! Offers a great chance to portray a unique perspective on a classic show, what more could you want?

Well....there's an adrenaline fuelled piece to keep you guessing. Honestly, you NEED to read it yourself to fully appreciated the wonderfully paced tension that Deb has loaded this story with. There were questions flying through my mind as I read and I would wager a viewing audience would be the same. No two ways about it, this piece makes a great thriller that will keep you guessing and leaning forward in your seat! So what are you waiting for? Read it and produce it!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Rules

I utterly adored this play and the reason...I'm not 100% sure who I feel worse for. Its very hard when you've been through difficult relationships and heart breaking break ups not to hide yourself away behind walls (or contracts) but then you ask does Hannah take things too far? But then if someone is being impossible in a relationship is the grown up thing to face the issue? These and MANY other questions about relationships are expertly explored in this short play by Deb and I think it would make a fabulous piece for a short festival on that theme.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Horse Called Home

We had the privilege of reading this piece at our Sunday evening play reading and it's a truly fascinating piece. Its a truth generally acknowledged that creativity can often be used as a form of escapism and that is something John has expertly explored here. I am not going to say who is escaping from what or why but know this, the play is beautifully crafted with lovely moments of humour that are sure to entice an audience, what more could you want for a production?

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Long and Short of It

We had the great privilege of reading this piece at our Sunday night play reading and I'll have to admit, I did blush a little. Don has created a wonderfully funny and intimate conversation between a very real couple who aren't ashamed to have a VERY real conversation! It is sure to have audiences giggling and it will be a challenge for the actors to keep a straight face!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: She said YES: A Trilogy

Ooooo I did not see that twisty coming! When I first started reading the monologues my mind drifted to romance and traditional excitement for getting married but by the end...well I won't say any more because you should most definitelt read it yourself! All I can say is that its a fabulous piece that explores the typically happy and exciting time of getting married and shows you that things aren't always as they seem behind closed doors. Wonderfully powerful and loaded with emotional twists!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Look What Hate Dragged In - A 10-Minute Play with Music...really fun music

In a world where they have been conversations to ban the traditional pantomime time I am so glad to see Deb bringing to life a fabulous new Dame! Accompanied by this wonderful character and some fabulous choices of music Deb not only entertains but exposes the raw wound that his the banning of things, ideas or even people because of fear or ignorance. Its a complicated political issue sprinkled with a lovely dose of Deb magic that will see you debating long after the curtain goes down.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Closer to Fine: A Tribute to Searching

There are powerful and beautiful images created here as Amy talks through her issues. The exploration of a serious (and in some cases dark) subject like mental health with something that is usually considered whimsical, like music creates a wonderful basis for a play that goes on to be fabulously constructed with characters you feel for and rapid back and forth dialogue that feels very real.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: DISSONANCE

There is nothing more horrifying to think of than your body not behaving in the same way the words in your mind want it to. Thats the tension and emotion loaded scenario Deb expertly guides you through that will see you leaning forward, getting invested and wanting to know how it ends.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: No Notice – A 5 Minute Play with Music

So I have always been in awe of Deb's talent to produce fabulously written plays but now I am hit with a new pang of jealousy. Jealousy of her ability to write beautiful and heart wrenching songs that slot into this beautifully emotional scene between mother and child. Its a piece that offers emotional moments in spades and is sure to leave the audiences heart strings feeling raw!
