  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Dark Horse

We had the great privilege of reading this piece as part of our Sunday night play reading. Its a wonderful exploration of what is and what creates the wonderful world of theatre. It offers a fabulous opportunity for a director, producer, costume designer and cast to create something truly wonderful as well as entertaining! This play would make a great spectacle and can't fail to entertain an audience!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Vampire Cheer

We had the pleasure of hearing this piece read at our weekly play reading and it was wonderfully entertaining. A combination of a 'Bring it On' style piece interlaced with wonderfully spooky characters, it would make a great alternative Halloween piece, especially for youth groups! Its sure to leave an audience entertained and smiling!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Sweet Fright

We had the great privilege of reading this piece as part of our weekly play reading and it was just fabulous! It struck me that Donna might secretly be a dentist (I'll say no more because you need to read it for yourselves!) but Rex has created a wonderfully real but brilliantly witty character who draws the audience in to her doorstep chat with trick or treaters as you wonder where the piece is going and before you know it, Rex leaves you with a HUGE smile on your face!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Wallabies of Venice

I want to see that painting Canaletto! That, for me was the start of the wonderful back and forth of utter madness and chaos in which problems attempt to be discussed using wonderfully witty dialogue that surpasses the concept of time itself (or at least the characters involved do). Its difficult to explain too much about what happens in this fabulous piece without giving away the story but to be honest I probably shouldn't tell you what its about because as a piece its a prime example of "you just had to be there!" Another fab piece Chris!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Fragile Mind - Workplace Stressors

Following Jenny/Tammy down the rabbit hole of her life, courtesy of Broken Arts Entertainment, this story takes a fascinating and curious twist as the central characters starts to get used to her new life, or is she? Once again, this brilliant story continues to guide the audience through this fascinating world and leaves you with questions and curiosities at every turn! The brilliant tension and heightened emotion is portrayed brilliantly by the actors involved but its the dialogue that continues to give and give! Next instalment, here I come!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Fragile Mind - Press The Red Button

Having read this piece once before I was intrigued to see how it would translate to audio and honestly, its an utterly fabulous start to the Fragile Mind series. The piece builds intrigue and tension in an expert fashion to the point where you are desperate to know how Jenny's journey will proceed. Its a wonderful example of audio plays being used to constructive tool. Its an utterly fascinating world with an emotion and tension fuelled storyline. Its fabulously written and brilliantly composed! Honestly, I can't wait to hear the rest!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Uninvited

Playwriting has often been described as therapy, we rip through the walls we've built to survive in the 'real world' and allow our inner most emotions to flood the page. That is what Chris has done here. Not only has he taken a dark subject matter and explored it in a raw and honest way but he has also offered up some powerful ideas and images for the audience to dwell on. Whether read by an old or young actor this is a piece that will resonate with an audience because Chris has made it something that will feel real.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Pseudo-Human Resources

We had the great privilege of reading this play as part of our Sunday evening play reading and it was a wonderfully amusing piece to read. An all too real vision of what the working world could look like in the future. Like so many of Rex's plays it was loaded with wonderfully witty dilaogue set against the backdrop of a brilliantly original scenario/world. Would make a great piece for audio or for a festival!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Zany Zane's FunZone (an audio play)

Oh my god! This piece is insanely brilliant! When I first started reading I thought 'a night in an indoor playgorund? Easy!' and that is just what Evan wants you to think before he starts throwing fabulous twist after fabulous twist, coupled with moments that had me laughing out loud. An audience will be thoroughly entertained and on the edge of their seats at the same time. As an audio play you could have an absolutely brilliant time creating the world Charlotte and Felix find themselves in! Just brilliantly funny with loads of pace and great tension!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Zoomspeare

YES! Just Yes! We've all learned/studied Shakespeare and his works but Max has taken the classical and flipped it in a wonderful fashion, answering the question 'What would Shakespeare have done with Zoom?' I have to admit, part of me is on the side of 'theatre is meant to be live' but the hilarious way Zoomspeare takes these classical characters, who are used to a very traditional way of doing things, and attempts to drag them (kicking and screaming in some cases) into the modern day is brilliantly done and utterly hilarious!
