  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Betrayal

So, I'm not going to lie, I was DESPERATE to know what was going on to lead to this high tensioned moment of chaos between Linda and Fran right from the word go! This play be only five minutes long but it packs a punch and then draws you in until, like me, you almost have your nose on the monitor. That's what Deb does, she intriegues, even in a short space of time. You should find out too....you know you want to!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Overtime

Motherhood being a full time job as never been given as such a prominent and emotionally touching message as Wendy has here. In addition to the message at its centre she has sprinkled this short play with wonderfully funny moments and an exchange about motherhood between three very real characters. It offers three fabulous roles to perform and a conversation that mothers in the audience will related to, what more could you want!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Teamwork - A Five Minute Play

YES! That is how you tell him Emma! One thing you know with a lot of Deb's work is that it offers a wonderful opportunity for a female performer to play an amazingly powerful role whether they are funny or emotional. That's what you have here in Emma, a woman who has reached her breaking point and is no longer going to let her husband decide the rules of the game! Would make a great festival celebrating women or simply to entertain an audience. Another classicly fabulous Deb piece!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Hidden Victims

The world of serial killers has been turned into a spectacle thanks to films, tv series and documentaries that insist on exploring the same twisted minds and their evil deeds over and over again, but no one stops to consider the other victims of these psychopaths. That is what Marilyn has explored with powerful dialogue and characters that you feel so sorry for when the discover the worst possible thing about someone they love. We are so quick to assume one evil family member makes an evil family but this powerful play will have an audience questioning whether we should?

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: The Promise

There is nothing more horrifying than an abuse of power in those we are meant to trust. That is the scenario Marilyn has created here in a dark and graphic manor. However, that is not all there is to it by any means, the abusive relationship depicted is wonderfully counter balanced by the caring relationship between Barbara and Kate. Coupling this with the escalation of tension and the fact that from the word go it pulls the audience into this horrific story is what makes it such a powerful piece and sends a much needed message.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Riddle Me This

AW! It's just beautiful! Relationships sometimes are made up of someone who gets it and someone who doesn't and Deb has explored that in a lovely fun way! A lovely piece about love!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: US - A One Minute Play

Never have the questions surrounding a relationship been explored in such a simplistic and yet revealing way. I just love the way Deb has taken a relationship, broken it down to simplicity and then rebuilt it for the audience to see. Fabulously done!

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Cheers to New Beginnings

So many scary things that these two people are facing, blind dates, disclosing a phobia, addressing sexuality, considering relationships. Those are all things Deb has explored in a funny but at the same time emotionally nurturing way. Put quite simply, I WANT to know more about what will happen between Vanessa and Kate. If thats not a play that will draw and audience in, I don't know what is.

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: Devil’s Advocate

The Devil is a character who has long been demonised and blamed for the attrocities of the world and the bad decisions of the world so to see the deference of the devil is a wonderfully unique take on the character. Its a piece that will also inspire debate, as 'trial pieces' often do. So if you've got a strong actor and are looking for something a little different then put the devil in a different light and fascinate and audience with this wonderful one minute play. A fab job Deb! :-)

  • Rachel Feeny-Williams: A Vote for Him

They say that you shouldn't discuss politics or religion on a first date, personally I think its the same for family. I wanted to take Anna to a bar after that and sit with her and just let her rant about her family until she had nothing left. Thats the kind of very real character Deb has created here. Not only can you see her but you can see the family and the interaction clearly in your minds eye. I don't know a great deal about American politics but I know about passion and this piece has it in spades!
