  • Christopher Plumridge: An Invocation To His Muse

This play is so atmospheric, so elegant and so like the painting it sets itself in. It takes a great writer to bring a two dimensional image to life, Aly does this to excellent effect. I won't give any more away, suffice to say the author manages to throw in a wonderful unexpected twist at the end. This play is beautifully elegant but with with a sad undertone. Brilliant!

  • Christopher Plumridge: If At First You Don't Succeed....

This is such a fun little play, with a good lesson thrown in - Don't be afraid to be yourself! It's science fiction meets Groundhog Day at a first, or seventeenth date. I did not expect the ending either, this would be a hoot to stage!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Wrongest Time

I'm not sure I could live in a world without Billy Joel, especially if Elton John sings his work! This is a funny short with a great last line. Great? I mean horrifying haha! A fun read!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Jengo Unleashed (An Online Play)

This play is a great, fast paced interaction, albeit through a closed door, between neighbors over the possible incident involving their pets. Karen's 'complaints are questionable to say the least and how young Skye deals with them is spot on! Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Dated Humor (Online Version)

Oh poor Ross, he doesn't set off on the best foot but still can't manage to put a foot right with his date! This play is fun, awkward and fast passed, I really enjoyed reading it and can envisage it being staged. I didn't see the twist at the end coming, which was brilliant. Read it and find out for yourself!

  • Christopher Plumridge: SIGN HERE FOR ALL THAT REMAINS

Every now and then two strangers meet and something magical happens, thankfully so in this case. Who would expect Amazon to deliver loved ones ashes, a thought which troubles me because I can see it happening. This is such a sweet notion and I can clearly envisage the delivery driver taking the widow our onto the water for the last goodbye. Lovely.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Mouse

How do you deal with a mouse in your house? Well, anything you like except Noah and Andys rather over the top approach, which had me smiling throughout. I can certainly relate to the 'bloke' logic these two inept mouse catchers have! Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Bytes

In this great two hander by Molly we see a young couple somewhat engrossed in their electronic devices that perhaps they do not pay each other enough attention. But quickly they do when the subject of biting comes up, (btw I loved the line from the memory "her arm fell into my mouth!) then off they go in a great direction, to a somewhat icy conclusion! I hope this brings lots of new adventures to this young couple! I loved it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Her Big Day

Wow, this is a big day to all concerned! This play threw in so many (darkly) funny twists that I'm still not sure who is supposed to marry who! Then a turn near the end took me completely by surprise! I would love to see this staged!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Map

Ooh I do love a fantasy and I can truly say this play by Nicola blew me away! I was hooked from the offset and couldn't wait to see where their little boat would take them. I won't give away the ending, find out for yourself, all is to say it gave me goosebumps! This play is beautiful!
