  • Christopher Plumridge: George Bell

This is a sweet and at times emotional two hander by Melisa, as we watch the city workers cataloguing the belongings of a deceased man. During this, one character, Paul, raises a valid issue that music can be far more sentimental than an expensive watch. I would love to see where this play goes, but as it is it's lovely!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Door

What an interesting notion this is, a look into the transition of the afterlife. Then poor Sarah has to make that horribly difficult decision whether to walk through the door or not. Besides this, it is a sweet tale of friendship and love. Produced sensitively this would be a joy to stage.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Fifty Shades of Grayskull: An Autocorrected Play

Haha I absolutely love this place, reading it one isn't sure which sentence is correct or if predecessors text has taken overnight? It's great how John responds to the mistakes, the result of which makes the whole play hilarious, this would be a hoot to stage! I love Teela, especially "I love a little French tongue" Great fun!!

What a wonderful two hander this is, with an important message. Very recently in the UK a dancing show with celebrities was shown, one contestant was a deaf young soap actress. She showed us what a joy it can be to be deaf (her words), this play by David also shows how any disability can be overcome easily and that other things are just as important. I would love to see this staged!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Ahavah

Having already read this wonderful play by David's co-writer Dana,I couldn't help but have another read. In itself it's a touching and relatable portrayal of how we feel at a wake, or Shiva. But also this teaches us, or me at least a lot about the religion and culture, which is interesting as it is important. Do give this a read!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Matching

This gentle two hander by Isabella is a true reflection on a parent-child conversation, especially online. We see Mum looking to join the dating scene while still being hung up on the ex and her daughters frustration on this. That said it's also a touching piece about their close relationship. Lovely.

  • Christopher Plumridge: A THOUGHT

What starts as a gentle, sweet play about two souls meeting in a secret place, gradually shifts towards a great twist at the end. And I do love a good twist! Either way it is a sweet tale of friendship, do give this a read. I would also love to see this performed.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Cat Sick

What a situation Al has made for himself as he sits and mopes around the back of the market. This is a bad situation but the dark comedy draws you in somewhat against your will. Throw in a bemused friend and a sympathetic police woman and you have a great play here!

  • Christopher Plumridge: To The Occupants

This is a pleasant two hander by Rebecca, which reminds us to accept an invitation from a neighbour as just that, without questioning the motive. I agree with another recommendation to this play, it would be nice to see what happens at the party, in my experience such parties can be the most fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Haunted Geese Goose Gift for Blind Brenda

I love a surreal tale and this play did not disappoint! Maybe Theresa and Mike spent too much time on the Ipad game, or maybe it all really happened. But as a result we have a nice little play about friendship, a magic goose and a skeleton, who could ask for more? Great fun!
