  • Christopher Plumridge: Believe Me - V3

Having read the first, short version of this play I quickly realised it was screaming out to be so much longer, such was the depth of story. Now the author has granted this wish in such a deep, complex and compelling way. Add in so many twists and turns, double crossing and deception you find a TV drama screenplay in your hands! How DI Jenkins would have wished for one day more!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Ammo Box

Oh my, after reading this beautiful play I have chills running right through me and a genuine tear in my eye! Joe Swenson has expertly bought to life two lovers from the first world war into the eyes of a hurting young lady. Simply yet perfectly staged this play will stay in the minds of any audience, I know it will stay in mine. Superb.

  • Christopher Plumridge: A Jerry Brown Christmas

What starts as quite a surreal play (and often darkly funny!) with the most unusual collection of varied characters, soon becomes a statement of the world we live in today. An important message behind the pot fuelled dialogue. I loved it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Monday

This is a very moving and disturbing monologue, told incredibly well. You are instantly drawn into Brenda's world, a place no one wants to find themselves in. I was particularly impressed how she ponders her own existence, not wanting to go, but wishing she'd never begun. Very thought provoking.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Sparrowfall

This is such a beautiful, rhythmic piece yet very sad. Although things are broken between them the author successfully shows how much love still remains for each other. To me the sadest way to break up. Very well told.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Out

Yes I can attest this is spot on! Add to this their demand for a treat on every return into the house. Simple but to the point!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Kitty

Haha I love this short play, don't use kitty for the wrong reasons! This would be a lot of fun to stage. It also reminds me of a great cartoon called 'The Cat came back.' Great fun!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Taking the A Train, a 10-minute play

We've often seen how disasters can bring out the best in people, and sometimes the worst. This short play shows this clearly and in some style, as we see these characters thrown together in an awful moment. Tense and thrilling, I loved it.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Killing Time, a 10-minute play

This play by Susan really heightens the tension one must feel during those awful hours in a hospital waiting room, waiting for news. Add to this the chance meeting of two characters and their realisation of their connection and you have an incredibly moving play. Very good.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Dark & Stormy

I love a bit of 'noir' and DARK AND STORMY did not let me down. This is a brilliantly, dare I say Tarrantino-esque, standoff between two wonderfully written characters. I would love to see this staged!
