  • Christopher Plumridge: Michael's Boy-Girl Party, a 3-minute monologue

This is a great little monologue which to me sounded like Melanie was in fact on the phone to her sister. Having been a young man once watching the bottle spin, hoping it points to the girl I fancy, I can really relate to this!

  • Christopher Plumridge: THE RIPPLE EFFECT, award-winning 10-minute comedy for two actors

This is a fun and touching short two hander by Rose. I wondered how the title fits into this story as I read through the great interaction between the couple, then the ripple effect idea was beautifully introduced, a sweet notion which becomes their joint focus and aim. Lovely!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The One

What a fun short two hander by Julia, the intense relationship of the characters is palpable and we find out just what they have between each other and what they share. Touching in places but mostly great fun! I think this play would work well on the same billing as Julia's other great play Oh Baby. Wonderful!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Oh, Baby

This is such a wonderful, fast paced, brilliantly silly play, I love it! Great interaction between all the characters, I especially enjoyed Brian's relaxed attitude to the situation. I would love to see this staged, great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Dogfather

Ha, Marlon Brandog is such a real, believable character, just like my very own dog, he rules the show. I love the idea of him addressing his owners, or rather his 'staff' whilst sitting self importantly in his big chair! A great read, I love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: A Conversation Between Myself and The Voice

This is a beautiful, clever and moving insite to the constant, battling, loving relationship we have with our inner selves. The beauty of this piece is that it can be staged in so many ways, as an audio play or a staged play. Poetic and gripping, I loved it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Brunch

This is a wonderful short play told very well with quick, well described scene changes. Fast, pacey and fun, I'd love to see this staged. I especially enjoyed the drunken banter between the three characters preparing for their little world to become unsettled. Great stage direction: 'haunted by hangovers passed' Brilliant!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Adam's Angels

This is a wonderful retelling of this first story of man, I can't help wondering what life would be like now if the angel Lucy had succeeded in her role. All the characters are interesting and well written in this quirky piece, I'd love to see a youth group perform this!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Deal - 10 Minute Play

What starts as a sweet, tender meeting of two people and recollection of a shared memory takes a sudden and unexpected twist, to this reader anyway. I loved the interaction between the two characters and the way the tables were turned is inspirational. Great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Believe Me - Version 2

Having read the first version of this great play by Rachel, I was compelled to read this expanded second version. The author has successfully taken her tense, gripping and claustrophobic play and added more drama, more story and more conflict. The result leaves the reader with so many unanswered questions, but mainly asking the big question that is poised at the end - "What would you do?" Excellent.
