  • Christopher Plumridge: Between Floors

This play starts off like a deleted scene from The Devel Where's Prada, such is the cutthroat nature of the business these ladies find themselves in. Then as the lift breaks down we get to see their true colours in hilarious, bitchy style!
No spoilers here, but just when you think you've reached the twist, there's another!
A great play on so many levels! (Pun intended!)

  • Christopher Plumridge: Afraid of the Dark (ten-minute play)

I love the fact that this play has two meanings.
One, we see a real life monster under the bed whom this guy has learned to accept and become good friends, he's real right?
Two, this shows how difficult it is to leave our childhood behind, and how tempting it is too keep some of it forever.
    A lovely, heartwarming short play!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Infinity of Delight

It's such a delight when a talented playwright brings to life a real person from history. Danielle has done just this to Susan Travers, whose story I had never heard before, in beautiful style.
Reading like the famous play MISS JULIE, this play really is an infinity of delight.
    More please!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Forgive Us Our Debts

Audiences will be kept guessing as this clever two hander unfolds. While Luke is tending to his plants as kindly as he does his loved ones, Jared is out to collect a debt. No spoilers here, but the 'debt' in question is quite a surprise!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Two Yards of Satan

    Haha, brilliant.
One must be careful when summoning the devil, that's for sure. But one little typo has given poor Pam a bit of a situation.
The devil is hilarious, cop so funny and the 'hot' Jesus is inspired! Very funny throughout with one hilarious meta line near the end.
I would love to see this performed!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Bit Of Leaving Eden (10-minute play)

Ha! If you ever wondered what Adam and Eve got up to before the taste of apples, here's a very funny answer!
Even without the fruit from the tree of knowledge, these two are creating words before the inventions themselves.
Also, this would be so much fun to stage. Love it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Last Death - 10 Minute Play

Ironically Death must feel right at home in a funeral parlour, even though their job is already complete by that time. In THE LAST DEATH, Ryan brings Death into the scene in very unique way, and the story which ensues grows darker by the page.
A clever short play which takes a direction few audiences will expect!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Bar Noir

A P.I, a tired barman, a dame, a judge... oh and 3 animals in a bar noir? Perfection!
The results of this bizarre mismatch, along with a mysterious bell, are truly hilarious. I would love to see this performed with a generous costume budget.

  • Christopher Plumridge: LIVING HISTORIES - Mildred Hemmons Carter

I love stories which bring a character from history brilliantly to life on the page, and surely onto the stage.
It was a sign of the times, and such a shame, that young Mildred never got to fly in action, despite her experience and skills, just because of her race.

A gorgeous monologue for an actor to get to grips with, so much passion and raw emotion, yet mixed with such sweet memories.

    Excellent.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Queen for a Day

What starts as a harmless, and let's face it fairly boring to some of its members, holiday group assembled to celebrate less common calendar events, turns beautifully dark in true Brandon style.
    Fun!
