  • Christopher Plumridge: The Ladies of The Colourful Society

In this bright play Rachel has given her ladies every colour in the spectrum to play with, which provides them with some very funny lines! I feel quite tangerine reading this! That aside this play is an accurate insight to the world of British amatuer drama Committees. You'd be very grey to miss out on this ....

  • Christopher Plumridge: Everything in its place

Once again Rachel has taken inanimate objects and given them life in an expert, yet sweet way. Here we watch Ted and chums try to ensure everything has its place in a time of upheaval. Running through this piece is the importance of friendship and how you really can and should be there for someone even if you don't see eye to eye! The costume department should have a challenge kitting out this play too!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Round Yon Virgin

Haha this is such wonderful, naughty fun, like a flipped version of the film Bad Santa! How many teenage boys would love to sit on this particular Santas lap!? Unique and hilarious !!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Narcissa, Narcissa

This is such a clever, unique idea for a play which would be striking yet simple to stage. How often have we looked in the mirror for the answers yet find the replies difficult to listen to. 'What if it hurts' 'What if it heals'
    Beautiful.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Tag on Toe

Ah, bless Kay for her patience in this conversation play! This is a fascinating look into two vastly different opinions and I for one, rightly or wrongly, took a side, but as a step father myself, I feel I'm justified. Both characters are truly believable and I felt as I were in the office with them. Great!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Ghost Light

Following a painfully long spell of theatre closures where the ghost light remained, eirily on, on many stages, this play takes us one step further. What if the ghosts of our colleagues remain, playing to their own audience in the next life? "(Paradise) for me it's spending every day making theatre with my friends"
I love this play, read it! Produce it!

  • Christopher Plumridge: My Zombie Valentine

Haha, finally we have a way to combat Zombies! I love this brutally short, hilarious and fast paced Zombie play far more than I love valentines day itself. Brilliant fun!!

  • Christopher Plumridge: The Age of Understanding or, The Character of Dad

What starts as a humorous exchange between father and his baby son, slowly turns into something quite deep and beautiful! You feel for this father as he recounts his resentment of his own dad. But the real beauty is the ending, when his partner walks back in the room, very clever, read it for yourself. Lovely!

  • Christopher Plumridge: Old Fashioned Girl

My answer to Penny Dryers final question in this short, sweet monologue is simply YES! A clever, touching short and I love it.

  • Christopher Plumridge: Candy Store: A Ten-Minute Play

This wonderful short play is a kind of sexy, coffee inspired, film noir! I love the way she speaks the whole narrative seemingly unaware that the baristas can hear everything she is saying, brilliant!
