A secluded island with a mad scientist, a beast man and a family with a Disney Travel Club reservation. The perfect ingredients for a madcap theatrical experiment only from the inventive mind of John Busser! I do feel a little sorry for the adult human characters who have to share the stage with a beast and two children. Nine-year-old Sally just might steal the show. Hopefully this will soon find its way to the stage!

Four years have passed since the horrific tragedy that is the subject of REMEMBRANCE, but D. Lee Miller’s moving memorial ensures it and others that have happened since will not be forgotten. What the artist in the story struggles with, Miller successfully achieves with her eloquence. A beautiful and heartbreaking piece that should be shared widely.

Although the prospect of working alongside a robot might be frightening, especially if it has a how-to-dick program installed, the way it is presented by James McLindon is absolutely hilarious! You may never look at the smile on your Amazon package the same way again!

It’s amazing what some dogs will do to be admitted to the dog park. Sometimes their emotional support paperwork just doesn’t pass the smell test. Greg Burdick has created a unique and hilarious scenario that mirrors many of the struggles of being human in the 21st Century. Audiences will be howling with laughter from the moment the lights come up!

Marj O’Neill-Butler does a masterful job of drawing us into this meeting of two strangers who may be much more. As we gain hope for this relationship, O’Neill-Butler flips the script. The last line actually gave me chills! As others have noted, this could be expanded, and I would certainly love to see what other surprises might be in store. But make no mistake, this play stands on its own as is. So enjoy it!

The Bear’s super powers are on full display in this the 8th installment in the Bear series. Also a bit of romance for the fuzzy fellow. In an unusual twist, Bear, usually so full of himself (as well as stuffing), actually shares the spotlight with his aerial acrobatic amore. Will this trapeze tryst continue? Inquiring minds want to know!

D. Lee Miller has created a lovely remembrance and anticipation with a grandfather newly arrived in heaven meeting his granddaughter on her way to earth. The dialogue is sweet and funny, and the called for lighting effects will lend an ethereal quality that will certainly transport audiences. I would love to see this staged!

Man can not live on beans alone, but he can certainly come up with enough bean jokes to make Mel Brooks proud! Tom Moran’s (partnered with Marty Moran) take on life at Walden Pond is absolutely hilarious! The Tinder joke alone would be worth the price of admission! This needs to be staged!

An excellent summation before the jury! And if this case were allowed to run its course through the judicial system, this attorney would have the chance to make the same argument in front of the very audience that needs to hear it: the Supreme Court. Meanwhile, if enough people get to read or see this, maybe some changes can take place. Here’s hoping for a long and effective run!

In this sequel to Waiting for Godot, David Beardsley seems to be channeling the spirit of Samuel Beckett! The wit and world weary wisdom of the original is alive and well here with the return of Gogo and Didi. The absurdist banter is perfect. And as Didi contemplates his buttons, we are left to contemplate the fate of these two characters and larger existential questions. The wait continues. Well done!
