  • Cam Eickmeyer: Apocalypse Roadtrip

Apocalypse stories are always so obsessed with the chaos and so rarely focused on the still human moments that would invariably exist. Two friends carrying a lifetime of trauma and personal experiences along a desolate landscape is a beautiful metaphor for survival and how friends are what keeps us going. It's a scary world out there. Wren Aubrey Latham builds a special world in that old Jeep Wrangler.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Fireflies

This would be a powerful play to watch performed. The setup and scene is incredibly rich despite being so very simple. The supernatural elements are charmingly unique and the characters are still so very human. We connect to them and need more time around this ghost light to learn their stories. Or maybe not, maybe the point is just walking in the dark together.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Teamwork - A Five Minute Play

In a world with too many lazy Jasons, let's cheer on the Emmas and watch them punch back. Aside from the core message of lopsided marriages, there is plenty of humor in this short, witty piece.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Seeker - अन्वेषक

This beautiful short play explores personal choice and freedom in a powerful way. It has some good laughs mixed in as it explores how the elements of faith are each confronted with the fundamental question of love. In addition to being eloquently written, the play has plenty of great characters for an ensemble cast to dive into.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Cat Audition

Don't read this play while in public unless you are OK with your (actual) LOL drawing attention. Ideally, watch this witty and funny work while being performed, but in a pinch a crowded public place will do. In either case, you'll laugh whether you own cats or not. It's perfection.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Lifted Up

A perfect blend of technology, theology and friendship. What is the after life? Imagine having a choice in the matter and holding all of our human debates about religion and purpose in your hands at the flip of a switch. This short play has a very, very deep pool if you dare to tread the waters.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: That Kind of Boy [a 1-minute play]

Simply a beautiful short play. Flips stereotypes upside down and shuns them as they should be. Loved every word of the piece.

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Bonus Point [a 1-minute play]

This short play will make you smile, giggle and then drop the floor out from under you with the last 'bonus point'. Reward your curiosity and read the play!

  • Cam Eickmeyer: #Bastille

If you've ever wondered what happens when a "person of action" and a "person of words" conspire, the answer is hilarious lines and a giant mess of a Facebook event. Fun play with plenty of #Satire

  • Cam Eickmeyer: Pandora's Box of Donuts

I love, no adore, this play. It's so beautifully crafted around a very difficult topic. So many excellent lines delivered by two incredibly deep characters. From the jumping in point of Pandora's Box you will fall in love with this story. Very well done.
