Amazingly pertinent, not just during this administration, but pretty much for all administrations. Apocalypse plays need a moral, and, unfortunately, this one is all too clear. And probably much too true.

  • George Sapio: Release

What does it take to let the truth come out...for better or worse? Something deeper than yoga, for starters. Short but powerful, this work catches a life-moment unawares, irrevocably changing a treasured relationship. An excellent play for two actors completely in the zone with each other.

  • George Sapio: Mirror Image

This play has more to it than meets the eye. What seems like a routine episode of Friday night pre-date jitters is really a place in time where a hard choice is made. A great chance for two actors to shine and work physically in concert.

  • George Sapio: Into That Good Night

A remarkable piece that does not go where you think it will. Two lost souls meeting up so briefly, most likely at the right time for both. A lovely short work for two compassionate actors and a conclusion that seems perfect.

  • George Sapio: Recess

I feel like this is a full-length play and not a 10-minute one. It's two whole lifetimes packed into a brief yet epic story. Absolutely a must for two actors looking to feel what it's like to be a child again, and yet there is a love here that is absolutely daunting. A very beautiful play.

  • George Sapio: Garland, Gynos, and Gurneys

I think, given the circumstances, I like this play way more than I should. It's a gloriously fun piece with real surprises. Great characters, all well-drawn, and unabashedly honest. This play should be on many seasonal lists.

  • George Sapio: Survival Strategy

I got teary reading this. It's so simple, so kind, and serves as a lovely reminder that the simplest of affectionate gestures can solve a boatload of problems. This should be done in every Valentine's Day festival.

  • George Sapio: The Dobler Effect

A great piece for two actors who understand compassion, hope, and coming to terms with the world outside of your dreams. Both Lionel and Didi have spunk, and they have a non-nonsense way of getting through to each other. A very fun piece and wonderful for two seniors!

  • George Sapio: CATALYST

A beautiful moment in time between a brave young man and someone who's seen possibly more than he ever wanted. Gives two actors a wonderful chance to play with the textures and establish a link between them. Really sweet.
