This is so good on so many levels. The rhyming convention throughout is a new twist. There's desperation. And atmosphere and it all comes together as pretty darn spooky. Would love to see this on stage.

  • Melissa Milich: JENNIFER'S COMING-OUT PARTY

I LOVE this play. Totally original and totally irreverent. It takes place on the night of the 2016 presidential election and a baby refuses to be born when she sees that Trump has been elected president. I would love to see this on stage. Brava, playwright!

  • Melissa Milich: Carols From Accursed Mouths

The highest compliment I can give someone is "I wish I would have written that." And, indeed, "I wish I would have written Foxhole Christmas." It's such a different take on war and therefore so dynamic. It was a sheer page-turner for me as well. I am just so moved by this. Thank you for writing it.

  • Melissa Milich: Last Call Christmas

Amazingly inspired play about an absentee father who comes back years later and well, it seems he had a good excuse! A deceptively simple play that turned out to be very thought provoking. The author expertly juxtaposes the two time frames -- past and present -- into a smooth tale for the audience. Very different from the usual Christmas fare. I liked it.

  • Melissa Milich: Pie 2 - A Bigger Slice of Pie

This is so fun. They song lyrics are hilarious especially since the characters don't sing them. It's one laugh after another in this one. And I about died with John the Busser's line, "It’s a dirty story of a dirty man and his clinging wife doesn’t understand." Take a chance on me... I mean take a chance on this crazy wonderful play!

  • Melissa Milich: Clip Clop

Gulp. This is scary. I mean, really scary. It's just masterfully written. Stephen King couldn't have done it better.

  • Melissa Milich: The Ultimate Christmas Question

Oh...this is GOOD! The awkwardness of a first date is expertly captured and you feel their pain. The story is perfectly and I mean PERFECTLY executed with rising action and a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. It's fun. A great antidote to the typical Christmas fare.

  • Melissa Milich: Two Boys on the Beach

I am not sure I ever read a play I enjoyed more than this one. Sheer talent. Matthew Weaver is a playwright to watch!

  • Melissa Milich: To Fetch a Pail of Water

This is a treasure! People will GUFFAW when they watch this. Morey Norkin's hilarious take on an old classic is priceless and I like Morey's version better than the original. You will too. Trust me. This should be hauling in the prizes at any play festival.

  • Melissa Milich: Good Knight and Goodbye

This is hilarious! A new take on the old stories with literary characters as we have never seen them before. This is bound to be a classic!
