  • Melissa Milich: Terra Cotta, or What We Leave Behind

This is perfect, little one-minute play hits all the emotional beats and with an unexpected, twisty ending to boot. Sometimes it's hard to say goodbye. But Kantor's play makes sure it counts.

Food is a comfort. It is meant to be enjoyed. But then why does SMITH have no appetite and JONES seems to be enjoying every last bite? Once again prolific playwright Paul Smith lulled me in with his snappy, authentic dialogue and then BLAM! I don't want to spoil the ending, but... his plays are so good at that surprise twisty O'Henry style ending. This play might actually take away your appetite, or at least make you ponder your next meal with a little more gratitude. A totally original concept!

  • Melissa Milich: DINNER

Whoa! I didn't see that coming! It's obvious crime doesn't pay in this witty, fast-paced dinner party with a spooky twist.

  • Melissa Milich: Clockwork

What WOULD happen if we could time travel? Brenton Kniess's play gives us a eye-opening glimpse at this possibility and it will make your skin crawl. Even so,the entire premise is executed so skillfully. The dialogue remains measured and convincing. It pulled me right in.

  • Melissa Milich: The Big Bang Explained - 2 minute play

This play stunned me just reading it and I can only imagine how even more stunning it would be to see this on stage. Any actor would love to get their teeth into this one. Wow!

This was so powerful. So real. It took my breath away.

I was wondering what the buzz was all about with this play AND NOW I KNOW. Let's just say, I wish I hadn't read this late at night because now I'm too scared to go to sleep. With this play, Ms. Cole shows her incredible range. It was the fast-paced dialogue that drew me in at first, and then OMG. Just read this play. Just produce this play. Well done, Debra Cole!

  • This left me in awe. Very powerful. This can gnaw at your deepest fears. A bit like Waiting For Godot meets One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest -- only much more scary.

  • Melissa Milich: Hey, Kiddo

Truly scary. All the elements are there. It would make a great movie for sure. I felt uncomfortable right from the beginning. It takes a lot of talent to write something this scary.
