Wow. A play about gun violence as told through the high school kids who face this threat everyday. This is such a powerful and gritty play. An important piece of work. Not surprising that this play won a major contest.

  • Melissa Milich: Family Visitation (Ten Minute)

Let us never forget the AIDS crisis and the emotional toll it took on families and partners. Donnelly's piece is a perfect time capsule to that era and he provides a strong gut punch to our sensibilities. This is a most powerful play. It literally left me breathless.

  • Melissa Milich: Ugly Doctor Hospital

Sooooo FUNNY! If the title is any indication of the treat in store, you're in for a laugh fest. This play is absurd and witty and a parody of just about every soap opera and medical drama that ever existed. Lines like: "We just heard of a huge accident involving a steamship down by the docks colliding with an elementary school. Injuries should start pouring in anytime now" only get better. If you need humor, seek no more. Bravo John Busser!

  • Melissa Milich: The Ghost Tour

After seeing all the reviews on this play, I had to read it for myself and I was not disappointed. It's classic horror set in an amusement park with a group of young people who don't know what awaits them behind the corner. When their friend disappears it's downright spooky. This is perfect for any time of the year when audiences are ripe for a good, old-fashioned spooking.

  • This is a BRILLIANT laugh-out loud comic parody of Hollywood greed and ambition. Two screenplay writers who were once buddies and collaborators -- the world was their oyster -- and then. .. (do I hear the screeching violin from Psycho here?) one of them outright STEALS the script, claims it as his own (!) and becomes world famous and filthy rich (not necessarily in that order.) The telling of this parable through the eyes of the wronged writer is pure Mel Brooks This was a fun twisty romp with hilarious cringe-worthy scenes. Fasten your seat belts!

  • Melissa Milich: The Why Are You Here People

A very powerful play about an uncomfortable subject. You never know who you're sitting next to in the waiting room. This one truly made me think

  • Melissa Milich: DAVENPORT'S DEMISE (A RADIO PLAY)

This is a fun fun radio play with elements of the old-time whodunit. Lermond's script pulled me into the story right away with a cast of hilarious and classic characters ad a fast-paced story. Not a wasted beat in this one.

  • Melissa Milich: Melt

Oh my! The scariest things are in what appears to be the most normal settings. And I walked right into this trap. The ice cream ran cold shivers up my spine but the proprietor of this most unusual ice cream truck won't overcharge her customers. It's a family thing.

  • Melissa Milich: Neighbor! Neighbor!

The actors will have as much fun in this play as the audience. Fast paced and furious -- a delightful crowd pleaser.
