This was a really great example of how to intrigue an audience very quickly. Heavisides conjures a world for you here that instantly brings up dread and makes you wonder just what indeed might be out there. It's a piece that left me wanting to know much more about what's going on, but on its own, its truly a chilling piece of horror to experience. Well done!

An interesting and poignant reflection on humanity here. Much to ponder even in a one-minute play. Good stuff!

Ah, the things we remember. Sometimes at times when we really don't want to have to remember them the way they do. And yet, there they still are. Jacquie's piece absolutely captures the essence of that melancholy and provides us with a still warm and tender look at a family dealing with the most existential of crises: the "loss" of a loved one and yet they're still PHYSICALLY there. Touching and moving... this piece will make a valuable addition to any 10-minute festival that would have it.

  • Brent Alles: O Burgled Companion, Thou Hast Pilfered Mine Heart

Even though Lipschutz spells it out in his description, the inciting incident still took me by surprise, and that's saying something about the overall tight and zippy construction of this short. Tremendously funny and enjoyable in a brief period of time. A definite delight in this tale that somehow looks to the future when the present is so heavy, man. I definitely dig. I dig.

"Erstwhile" is a pleasant endeavor that will definitely make you think as you enjoy your reading/viewing. That its message remains somewhat timeless even if you don't know the headlines behind the headway speaks to the human condition as only PMW can do. It's a neat trick to find a different approach to a "ghost" or "afterlife" play. This play does both and provides a nifty angle to examine what we may have thought we already knew. Good stuff!

Bella, Bella, who's got the Bella? An interesting scenario brought to earnest life by Brandon. Here's hoping we all have a little #2 inside us all. Enjoyable 10 minute!

Christmas absurdity just how I like it. Another gem of a 10 minute from Bray, to be sure x7.

Crazy as the cat's pajamas and doubly entertaining. This brilliantly comedic piece by Feriend kept taking unexpected turns until I was quite dizzied by it all. But enjoyably so. Loved this piece!

I mean, just the concept had me laughing, and then I dove in, and it just gets wilder from there. Absurd humor at its finest from Braverman, and yet a little bit of pathos as well? (Or parthenogenesis... I always get those two confused.) Anyway, this hilarious ten minute should be produced across the land. Let the wingspan of these condors spread out over the whole of theater nation, I say.

Inside jokes are, of course, the best jokes. And I'm so happy... I think? To be a part of this? Though I let the playwright know that I should be angrier, louder, and have access to a time machine. Oh no! Now I'm banned. Oh well, laughing as my screen goes dark, at least.
