This play was all sorts of natural! The two characters' dialogue was absolutely amazing and the comedic and dramatic timing was very clever. I saw this show performed and it was even better watching it. Highly recommend!

The energy was electric right from the very beginning and I was constantly enticed to continue reading. The tension grew and shifted throughout, making for an interesting and complex story. I loved it!

I loved the chemistry between the two characters because the dialogue felt very natural and is implied that those two were close with each other prior to the plot. Additionally, the pacing between the comedic and dramatic tension was wonderful as it did not feel rushed despite being a ten-minute play. Like the other commenters, I wish to know what happens next for Melanie and Shaun.

As I read this play I loved it more and more. The little details that make the characters come to life, the unique set up for the play, the realistic and natural feeling dialogue. It was all zing and left me wanting to know what happens next.

I loved this play so much. Gender and sexuality spectrums aren't discussed enough in mainstream media, and it was very interesting to see so much growth and conflict happen in such a small setting.

This play does a beautiful job of subverting our expectations in order to emphasize its core theme. Much like Melanie the audience finds themselves guessing and making assumptions about what the characters are doing and what they want. By the end we find our theories, notions and assumptions entirely shattered. Pipes does a beautiful job of illustrating what it means to be different and just how alienating that can be. As well as how easy it is to view some one you care about as other. I highly recommend this play it is definitely worth the read.

This play tugged at my emotions. While reading you can feel that something was gonna happen and feelings were going to be spilled. It shows that sometimes others don't clearly understand the identity of others. It was a beautiful play and I wanted to know more about what happened. Good work.

As a queer person, I adore everything about this play, it hit me in a very vulnerable place. And not only that but it shows the typical teenage anxiety in an incredibly real way. The layering of conflict in this play allows us to uncover the world that these kids live in alongside the story. Wonderful job!

This play was such a pleasant surprise. It challenged my own expectations about what love looks like. When you see two teenagers in the hookup spot you expect a certain thing. Then, when you see a boy walking in heels you expect another. This play acknowledges these expectations but then tells a story that is incredibly human and touching that moves away from any restraining stereotypes.
