BRILLIANT! This is one of those wonderful 10 minute plays that gets better by the minute, and it already started out great! How much fun this would be onstage!!! What a marvel it is - to be funny, meaningful ,have high stakes, to experientially expand our human understanding of language and its impact, AND TO ENTERTAIN - hats off (and I wear hats every day, so I have them to remove) to Ms. Bircher for her little office play about the dictionary. The play I most want to see right now!

LOVE THIS PLAY - Hilarity Ensues! Pee first, then read it! I found this play to be completely entertaining and thrilling, and it says so much about the assumptions people make about female experience! I'd run to see it performed! (and I never run) All the implements of impalement! All the blood and the stains on the carpet! Noe Valley! This!
  • A Play about David Mamet Writing a Play about Harvey Weinstein

Should have been produced everywhere yesterday - where is JUSTICE? This play tackles it all and is so CATHARTIC, I want to reread it again and again, see it onstage over and over because THIS PLAY ACTUALLY MEANS SOMETHING TO ME and my life and probably half the population of the world with our sons and our dreams of writing meaningful plays - thank you Mathilde Dratwa for writing what we all mean!

WOW! This is a really super fun play about work and consumerism and rage and life, and it would be awesome to see staged! Powerful! I love the way Keenan-Zelt uses language as rhythm and builds a musical without music. Should be assigned reading!

A beautiful play both moving emotionally in its grief and loss and moving forward toward acceptance simultaneously. Well crafted to include the past and a sense of the future in the child. Strong!

Wonderfully written, kept me on my toes right up to the end. The shifting dynamics, the way the story plays out - WOW! Anchored in a solid lesbian relationship having its own ups and downs, add to that a daughter searching for her biological father - this play does not go where you think it will go - instead it heads right into the heart of this very moment making it such a relevant and intense play to read - I wish I could see it staged! Should be produced everywhere! A MUST-SEE!!!!!

Adorable play that feels all the feels, is super-honest and moment to moment beautiful, as in: this would be so much fun for actors! Really solid writing, Crim is someone whose work I want to know better.
  • Bird Brains Puts The Dog To Sleep
    26 Aug. 2019
Highly theatrical doubled-up characters make for a wonderful kind of stylized drama with strong overlapping language. A younger and an older Bird Brains give us their life and how they lived so that we can bear witness to what they've suffered and what they've loved and learned, a powerful mytho-poetic piece!
  • The Salt Gatherer and other one-page plays

These are all beautifully rendered with great telling details and a poignancy to each of them that feels honest. Whether naturalistic or absurdist, silent or magical, they all feel dramatic and elemental. I wish there were more!
  • Clara, A Thorough-Good-Fellow

It's shocking what Clara is considered a-thorough-good fellow for. Reuben does a wonderful job revealing it all to us rather than telling us. I'd love to see it produced!
