This was a great play full of humor and insight into the two men as they have a drink, and I love the ending where the "real" super heroes come in to help out. Nicely done.

What a beautiful ode to love! Pure and sweet. Violet and Ellie are so real and the dialogue so perfect.

Why not indeed!!!! This play does causeth delight for any and every reader. It's a much needed "Tom and Jerry" update with witty dialogue and a great set to boot. Would be so much fun for any theatre to put on and for any audience to see.

What a sweet, sweet play, wrapped up in a beautiful minute. This would be such a great play to use at every school in the nation, to show that talking does help when we are all just so afraid of that. Here's a short piece that would be such a powerful addition to any school assembly and real talks about teenage depression and just getting through the day to day when bad things happen. Highly recommend and a huge push to get this out there for all to see and read in every school!!

The first play I read by Drawlings got me hooked and I knew I would be back to read more and so glad it was "Firepuke." I love the strong characters and language that fill this short piece and the mystery of the stranger on the phone and then of course the mystery man at the end. As with his "Keep Their Features on Your Starry-Eyed Swivel" I would love to see this play performed what fun the actors would have with Sister Diamanda and Messiah Cancel.

What a beautiful play, in words and thoughts and how it plays out. This play deserves to be seen by many and read by everyone!

What a heartbreaking play to read and so well done for its few pages. The opening lines talk about how cold these two girls are in this dressing room and that feeling of cold just grabs hold of the heart of the reader as you comprehend in full what hardships Julie and Larissa are facing and you want to reach out to them to show them some hope.

I love a good title and that was the first thing that grabbed me but once I was finished reading I was hooked on Westeen’s delightful biographical monologue. I like how it’s set up as guide. This play was so personal as it is for so many people that grew up in the same time, but it made me look back on those times with a deeper appreciation for having made it through them a better understanding of hope and love. This play would provide an actor with some wonderful scenes to work with.

A funny parody of Glengarry Glen Ross. So well done and as one reviewer said, family friendly to boot. A deserved win at the Tree City Playhouse competition!

You read things sometimes that you know are good, but then they just hit that next level and leave you with the feeling that you've just read something magical. This is how Emily's play "Blue" was for me. I knew there was poetry with the construction of it and I knew the writing was great, but the emotions pulled from me at the end were unexpected and for that I applaud this wonderful short play. What a treat for any actors to be involved with as well as the theater who puts it on.
